  1. Hello! Make sure your firewall and/or 3rd party software isn't blocking anything. Try different servers & protocols. These tips can also help sometimes. It's hard to say much when you provided such precious little information though . Nothing on your OS, torrent client, connection speed or anything haha.
  2. Tried it on Win 7 & 8 64-bit with the same client version and there's no leaks for me.
  3. It's one of the lovely features of AirVPN and why it's so worth supporting ^__^. Enjoy.
  4. How do you do p2p with AirVPN.... i'm super newb at this. Is stremio a new streaming service? No worries. P2P = Peer to Peer. First you need a torrent client (the protocol is called Bittorent). Configure said client as you wish. Then you find a torrent site which you like. Find content on those torrent sites you want and click the download links. Enabling Eddie's Network Lock is also a good precaution. Then after the download is finished, you "seed" that download a bit; as in help others download it. To a ratio of 1.0 at least. If that's what you were asking .
  5. You can be connected to any server and get access to whichever French content you want, as long as the website you're trying to access is supported by Air.
  6. I think there's usually different rules for datacenters, when it comes to domestic spying . But of course, the risk is ever increasing. Especially when you make hacking legal. But you can be sure that Air would consider the risks to customers first.
  7. Good detail! Thanks for adding that. I took it for granted that he would be
  8. Hello! I'm guessing it's more to do with the client, as the current stable doesn't support mono 4 and probably other dependencies I don't know about. Air is constantly adding to the Beta client fortunately, so if you run into other issues, do make sure to report it .
  9. Haha, you don't have to do anything, it's automatic for supported websites.
  10. Hello! Using the Checking Route tool is a quick way to get an idea about which servers might run into problems with certain services
  11. Hello! Nice stuff . I think it could be formatted a little better, for more clarity and the title changed to "How To" or "Guide", to make it clear what it is. But good effort!

    Why AirVPN?

Hello! In addition to the excellent points by VPNuser172: Core Ideals & PracticesI prefer AirVPN over other VPNs due to what I perceive to be superior security practices and ethical backbone. Air takes an unwavering stance on security, to the extent that it makes most other providers look like they're not really trying. When the Air Staff account posts, it just feels like they're really in the know, as opposed to just avoiding the topic, when things get technical. So if you think you can come to the Air forums and tell Air they did something wrong in a technical sense, you better be prepared, because Staff brings the big guns lol. Staff will fight you and you will lose most likely. . In my view, that's a pretty swag attitude. I mean, how many companies have the honesty to tell their customers when they're wrong? Or how about just casually telling substantial internet organisations where they can stick it because they're not doing their job? No worries Air can do that too. Which brings me onto the next point: Air actually has values, while many other providers, only see value in money. Thus because Air intends to protect privacy as a way of protecting human rights, I feel that Air is more trustworthy and what is a VPN worth, if it can't be trusted? After all, you don't need to live in some 3rd world country to be in increasingly short supply of basic human rights, like the right to privacy. Not to mention who Air is run by. Air also doesn't give a damn if it has to inconvenience its customers for a little while, if it means it protects them and the integrity of Air: that's epic! They don't even take any shortcuts regarding their website!. Marketing & PresentationBut not only that, Air doesn't oversell itself, which gives it an Air ( ) of honesty. Air actively supports other security/privacy-oriented endeavors with cold, hard cash. Which means that supporting Air, is also a way of supporting other groups who are working for the same core ideals, such as freedom and openness; not least about its own operations. It's also comforting not finding google analytics or facebook logins on the Air site as well. Features & Features!Air was said to be more expensive than average, on some of the review sites I visited. That's ok! Because the features that AirVPN provides are so sweet. VPN + Tor, various DNS tricks to bypass country blocks to certain websites, from any server, an open and feature-rich client (which not everyone can boast!) and it goes on and on. I'm not afraid to say that I once tried the PIA client and was shocked to find I had to disconnect from the VPN server to change basic settings. Not to mention we have some crazy smart people on these forums, who will gladly assist you in correcting any faults in perception. So there you go. Yes I'm an Air fanboy, call me an Air-head all you like . I found it on torrentfreak, after carefully reading the "Best VPNs" kinda lists that they make, as well as looking them up on other review sites. Air didn't stand out, until I pinpointed exactly what I wanted in a VPN: Good values (such as supporting free software), no censorship, high quality, with lots of features and an extreme attention to security and privacy. It should be said that there's no official standards in the VPN industry. No worries though, Air already sets the standard
  13. Yes there's a reason. There's many really. But the importance of all of this privacy/security stuff really comes down to the personal preferences of each individual. As for concerned, yes, be extremely concerned, if the thought of a private corporation that spans the globe has and shares access to your information with any number of governments, agencies and subsidiaries, wherein you have little control over how it's shared, for how long and not least secured, makes you uneasy, then yes, be concerned and do something about it . Privacy is extremely important. It's fast becoming a rarer and rarer commodity. You can read up on how to improve your privacy, if you wish . Plenty links in my guide too.
  14. Hello! As per what Air stated, when French datacenters meet Airs standards, simply. But since we don't know when they will or when Air will find one that already does, we also don't know when we'll get another French server. But you can be sure that Air knows it's in its interest to set up a new French server as soon as possible. It just can't risk Air customers; as the potential loss of integrity, security and trust, is worse than the loss of a server or two. (Which is why we love Air, isn't it?) Bon appetite

Who knew Theresa May & Donald Trump could be so good for business !
  16. Maybe that's because 1984 is set there and even before this new law, London was and still is one of the most watched cities in the world, in terms of cameras. It's such a shame.
  17. Hello! It's sad news indeed. It just proves that terrorists don't have to carry AK-47s and run around in a desert in an attempt to destroy freedom and democracy, no, they're just fine with wearing a suit and tie too
  18. Hello! The thing is, they might find inspiration elsewhere.
  19. Hello! Air Staff pretty much destroyed that guys arguments when he came to the site, as zhang linked to. If you do get a reply, it would be interesting if you shared them with us of course. Do make sure to diversify your review sources ^__^. To me it seems like, if he can say Air is shady, then he has also invalidated either most of or the entire VPN industry, as few (if any) VPNs approach Airs standards currently lmao. It was nice of you to post about what you found as well, in case we hadn't heard of it. Thank you
  20. Hello! You can share an account, but then each person will only have 1 device available. Nothing is shared - although if they sign in on the website, they can disconnect each other and see which server each person is connected to. If you have a powerful router, you could set up AirVPN on it and thus all devices connected to the router would be protected. But this is much more involved. Welcome to AirVPN!
  21. I'm glad it worked out for you bro . For the MS thing you can try this or this update fixer. Provided you get to install updates, but there's still something wrong with them, this tool can also help. Naturally, if none of the tools work, you may be looking at a re-install anyway . Could be Vista is cancer, but that AirVPN triggered it lol, but that's just like a pensioner going for a run and the healthy run triggering a heart attack ;D. While if the pensioner had just updated his fitness regimen earlier and thus conditioned his body to the exercise... ;) Haha. I don't think it's realistic for Air to warn users of potential problems. Other providers don't do this I think and maybe it would scare some away. But also, then they'd have to append a warning for every OS and that if it breaks, it's not Airs fault. That's called a ToS and no one reads them! So if we're going to do this, I demand that Air also puts "User may become Enlightened and never look at VPNs the same way again, may cause permanent disgust with regards to services provided by other VPNs" into the ToS, yep *ACCEPT!* Good day bro.
  22. Hello! There's a new Beta release, OP, if you're still there. If the problem persists, then post in the Beta thread about it too
  23. Hello, I'm French, yes I have also many deco/reco on Thuban, (windows 7 and 10) And I must say that if AirVPN can't open new server in France, I'll not renew AirVPN... We need also French server ! Relax, I'm sure there'll be a new French server eventually . But the conditions have to be right.
  24. Which problem is that?

Hello! Is there a time table for when polling starts, Air? It seems like there hasn't been a poll since 2014 - which is perhaps due to there not being so many projects being proposed. Thank you .
