So try go to your networking settings and disable and then enable the TAP adapter. Then you can go into the properties of that adapter as well and under Advanced, set its "Media Status" to either "Always Connected" or "Application Controlled". Then click Apply. That will fix the issue, at least on Windows . Otherwise OP, you should try a restart as well, if you're on OSX.

Things such as: - Your OS. - Your version of Eddie (if you're using Eddie at all) - What the problem actually is. - Logs from Eddie (or similar) - If you're using any particular 3rd party software. - When the problem occured first, etc. etc.

Hello! Makes you wish they'd invest the same into their own client firstly lol. What's the point in having the latest security review of X, Y, Z, when your own software is classed as malware. While I certainly think it looks cool to do this, it's just marketing. It seems they're always trying to "show up" everyone else, by talking about how good they are, what they're doing and so forth. But in a sense, I feel that talk is cheap. If they would actually back it up and "get the basics" down first, then I'd see more value in that move. Thank you for sharing of course . I do wish AirVPN would be *just a little* more like PIA in terms of announcing though.

Hello! There's 2 of such "check tunnel" options. One is for DNS, another for the tunnel itself - try to look for it and disable both . Beyond that, trying different protocols and server combinations can work sometimes. Alternatively, you may have more luck with the experimental client . If you don't know where to find it, my signature guide shows where.

Hello! My opinion is: It's not a VPN. So it can't even be in the forum "Other VPN competitors or features" really and is not a competitor for Air, as it's an anti-blocking tool, not a VPN. So this is what I'll judge it on. It's developed by Brave New Software, which is based in the US. That's strike 1 against it. It's also by the US government. Strike 2. As stated on the above news link: "“Lantern is a tool to provide access – it is not designed to prevent monitoring,” - said one of the developers. Strike 3. The lack of information, such as *what* encryption, how it's implemented and the level of it, is bad. Security is not its focus. Things like "speed" are. Even the motto "Better than a VPN" is just misleading. Better at what? It may also serve to trick non-techy users into thinking VPNs are just for getting past blocks and nothing else.But never mind the list. If we're skeptical, any US-government sponsoring should probably immediately add 10 strikes haha. It reminds me of Radio Free Asia - also sponsored by the US government. Maybe it's just me, but perhaps if the US government invested the same amount of resources into their own problems, they might in fact have some moral high ground; instead of just a foxhole. Note that many (if not most?) VPN reviewers these days count it as a con if a service is based in the US - thus I do too here.

If you use Comodo on anything but the Experimental client, it may cause problems . Beyond the problems of using XP itself. Do whatever works for you and that you're comfortable with though . Also, you don't *have to* use NL for things to be secure and/or work well - you can always check ipleak.net to see if your IP and DNS address is still being hidden while NL isn't on.

Did you forward the ports on your router or in the desktop client? Do it on the client. You can also download a fake torrent from ipleak.net to check if things are being hidden properly.

Hello! You should check your DNS settings . If you're using the Stable 2.10 client there can be an issue where the settings aren't reverted correctly and thus your DNS isn't reset. Thus you can't access the net. Try go to your networking connections and make IP and DNS "obtain automatically". It's done much the same way between different versions of Windows. But I don't know which OS or version of Eddie you're using .

Hello! Have you tried using an alternative port with the UDP protocol then? I assume you're also torrenting *correctly*; portforwarding, etc. Did you try different servers too? It seems you didn't append the entire log, from line 1.

Second guess? I'm merely highlighting the fact that Windows does a lot of strange things and as this is a strange issue, it could be worth checking out.

Hello! Could be interesting if you partitioned your disk and/or used a VM and installed Linux, before then trying to download from there ^__^. It's Windows 10 after all, it's the Bruce Lee of Operating Systems, as it breaks absolutely everything lol . Unlike Bruce Lee though, the causes aren't always clear, as it can for instance, update itself without your knowledge or in ways that break existing software/hardware. I just thought it could be interesting, if it was possible to rule out Windows . I assume other downloads elsewhere work for you however.

Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! Allow access means letting the program communicate through your firewall, instead of being blocked. You can still use the net with NL activated. It's just that some programs may either not be able to or have a harder time; which can, for instance, slow things down in the corresponding program. After NL has been activated, you can go into the firewall settings and manually add programs. Then check the "Public" or "Private" boxes, depending on which one your network is currently on .Network Lock is a very handy feature for preventing leaks and is what many call a "killswitch", when you browse other VPNs :].

Hello! I believe Linux handles it in such a way that there's no connection at startup, when you've already enabled Network Lock, as the rules don't change . Unless I misunderstood something lol. Also, it's correct of you to use the experimental .

Hello! Have you tried these things or these other things? Likewise if you're using Wi-Fi, tried using the 5Ghz mode instead of the 2.5Ghz? Or using a wired connection. Or otherwise going into your routers control panel and checking a few settings. Things like making sure it's not using legacy Wi-Fi standards like b/g and doesn't have speed limits of any sort enabled.
