  1. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! It would be nice to see some logs from the Eddie client, so we can see if anything is wrong in that department. You could also try a different torrent client, such as qBittorent and make sure it's bound to the VPN interface. There's furthermore also more torrent guides in my new user guide . Do try different servers and protocols as well.
  2. Please disable IPv6 on the TAP adapter too . You can also try to select "Application controlled" instead of always connected, if it doesn't work. Likewise, you can go into the Eddie settings and disable Air Tunnel checks as well as DNS route checking - sometimes you have to disable both for there to be an effect. In addition, it's always good to try out different protocols, in Eddie. Pick one and then reconnect to a server . But first IPv6. Should none of this work, you may also benefit from installing the Beta client instead. Especially if you're using 3rd party security software on your system, such as anti-virus or firewall software.
  3. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! Please try: Turn off IPv6 by un-ticking the box in the Network Adapters area. Disable any network adapters which aren't needed or in use, such as any Bluetooth adapters. Go to the TAP adapter in the Network Adapters area, into properties>>advanced>>And enable "Always Connected" and click Apply.
  4. Hello! But the update process is so easy. Just download, install and then restart the client .
  5. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN! Are you using a Bridged Adapter in your VM Network Settings?
  6. Hello! Thanks! Although I don't agree with the listed Con: AgainstBelow average speeds on some serversWindows client can be tricky to useReally? Hard to use? You login and click a big button saying connect to recommended server. I also dislike their vagueness when they say "they use cookies" without specifying which ones. Relevant, when cookies are needed for logging into the forum and thus might not have anything to do with tracking.
  7. Hello! It looks all futuristic Staff, good work, it's all working fine on mobile and desktop. I like what you've done with the WebRTC detection. It would be neat if a utility such as the EFFs Panopticlick were either added to the test options somehow or otherwise referenced at the bottom, so as to test for unique browser configurations, but know that'll just mean extra work for you .
  8. That sound very plausible. Maybe you'll have to invest more in games from gog.com, which can be played offline
  9. Hello! Please consider turning off IPv6, as well as any networking adapters you don't need, such as, Bluetooth related ones. Then ensure your firewall or security software isn't blocking anything, including Eddie. Do also remember to forward ports on this site if you haven't done so. Beyond this, you may benefit from trying the Beta client as well as another torrent client like qBittorent and making it bind to the VPN tun interface . In addition, changing the protocol in use may also help sometimes. I recommend trying other UDP ports first. There's links to other torrenting guides in my new user guide as well, in case you haven't found them already; they touch on torrent client configurations. I hope this helps! Sent to you from me with datalove
  10. Please just make sure *both* IP and DNS are set to obtain automatically. In the same area, you can also un-tick IPv6, which you should try . You could also follow the first suggestion in regards to trying out the Beta client.
  11. Hello! It should be said that IPv6 support is planned for 2017
  12. Hello! As stated in my new user guide, there's nothing wrong with running the Beta .
  13. So it works for you now? I didn't know you were in a VM. You can also try to disable IPv6.
  14. Hello! You're pretty new, so I can still say welcome to AirVPN! Haha. It sounds like you're experiencing the well known bug in the Stable Eddie client. Hence why itsmefloraluca recommends the Beta client, as do I. You should try change your DNS & IP to obtain automatically and afterwards make sure to close the Eddie client via its own menus . But it would be most helpful if you would please provide logs. Thank you.
  15. Hello! Can you provide some logs please? It sounds like you just need to disable DNS route checking in the Eddie settings, but logs would be nice .
  16. Then Welcome To AirVPN! A belated welcome, but a welcome nonetheless.
  17. Are you closing it from its own menus or just clicking an X?
  18. Hello! Thank you for sharing with us. That's quite interesting and it certainly sounds terrible. Here I thought the EU was meant to make the UK regret Brexit
  19. Hello! Are you using the Beta client? It's not clear.
  20. Great it is indeed. Since you're in the UK, I recommend you try servers in the Netherlands, if you haven't. They're quite well-connected . Also, if you're using Virgin Media, there's a guide around here regarding fixing connection issues with them. I've also listed it in my own guide. Please do also ensure that any and all security software you may have running, is allowing AirVPN.exe, OpenVPN.exe and tap.exe or is otherwise added to some kind of exclusion list. Also remember that for The Division, you may need to forward ports for Uplay.
  21. Hello! Thank you for sharing. Although I struggle to imagine how anyone could be surprised, given who's involved
  22. Hello! Since there's no French servers currently, you may be stuck, if you're unable to access it via micro-routing. Which you only need to use AirVPN DNS, in order to use.
  23. Hello! Sometimes you only need to forward a couple of ports for it to work - which you can search individually for each game. Other times, you just need to find the right server. I find that I actually get a BETTER ping playing through AirVPN, which is hilarious! So just make sure you're using UDP, which you are as a default and try out different servers - they don't have to be close to you, to be the best. It wasn't clear whether or not you were actually experiencing problems. As for other applications, you can use the routes tab to bypass. But it's not always possible, when many IPs are involved. Thus we have guides around here for "split-tunneling", wherein the VPN connection is only used in certain specific instances. Welcome to AirVPN! Maybe something positive came of those surveillance laws after all
