  1. Hello! Canadian servers access Netflix USA because Netflix Canada blocks them. Therefore we have decided that Netflix USA from CA servers was better than no Netflix at all. It remains to be seen how your iPhone can access Canada Netflix. A possible explanation, although unlikely, is that Netflix Canada lifted the block against our servers AND your iPhone is NOT using the VPN DNS. Very unlikely but worth a check, we'll do. Kind regards
  2. Hello, these forums are available to AirVPN community (as reported in the forums description) and AirVPN staff can read and/or reply to a topic as a courtesy or not. Moderators read all the messages. This is not the place to receive support from the support team: for that, you can open a ticket. Thread locked. Kind regards
  3. Hello! 1) HMAC SHA384 is already available as authentication cipher in the Control Channel. 2) RSA keys size is already 4096 bit, as a well as DH ones. 3) There is no reason to switch from HMAC SHA as authentication cipher in the Data Channel, but we don't rule out a switch in the future. 4) There is currently no plan to switch from AES-256 to AES-128 either on the Data Channel or the Control Channel. https://airvpn.org/specs Kind regards
  4. Hello! We're very glad to inform you that five new 1 Gbit/s servers located in the Netherlands are available: Ancha, Caph, Kocab, Muscida, Pleione. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator"). The servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP. Just like every other Air server, Ancha, Caph, Kocab, Muscida and Pleione support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Team

  8. As it was already explained, there are no unencrypted DNS queries. Please write back assertive claims only after you have resolved your confusion. Kind regards
  9. Hello! The quoted text in bold is wrong, provided that your system queries VPN DNS, because your query never gets out of the VPN. Each VPN server runs a DNS server. Please see also https://airvpn.org/specs Kind regards
  10. Hello, we have changed the routing for wiki.debian.org Can you try again and confirm that it works now ? Kind regards
  11. Hello, the reported problem has no relevance at all in our service. Please move / continue here: https://airvpn.org/topic/16129-ip-leak-affecting-vpn-providers-with-port-forwarding We're locking this thread. Kind regards
  12. Hello, as you very well know, anyway the "attack" would fail on AirVPN, because clients connect to an IP address, and are reachable on a different IP address only. Kind regards
  13. Hello! Please move here to continue with the topic (which is not off-topic ) https://airvpn.org/topic/16129-ip-leak-affecting-vpn-providers-with-port-forwarding Kind regards
  14. This gif is beautiful, we inserted it in the Black Friday announcement https://airvpn.org/topic/16128-black-friday/?do=findComment&comment=34527 thanks! Kind regards
  15. Was AirVPN one of the tested services? Is AirVPN affected to this issue? Hello! It's a correlation attack through some social engineering support. A solution is having separate entry and exit-IP addresses on each VPN server, just like in AirVPN. The astounding information in the article, if true, is that nine [five, fixed by pj] providers have not taken care of that. The attack in itself is very trivial and is quite common knowledge in consumers' VPN industry. Perhaps the five providers cited in the article are not "VPN industry", but amateurish services? Kind regards

  17. Hello, servers in Canada are in two different datacenters, therefore it's unlikely that the same problem affects all of them. Can you get higher performance from servers in a different country? For example, in this moment there are several users on various Canada servers using regularly 30-70 Mbit/s bandwidth. Kind regards
  18. Hello, please note that Sirius was withdrawn on April 2015. Kind regards
  19. Hello! It's very important to know that: 1) ipleak.net does NOT work in IPv6 2) our service does NOT support IPv6, that's why our client Network Lock blocks outgoing IPv6 packets (also, the client can disable IPv6 in some systems, and re-enable it at shut down) 3) DNS leaks via IPv6 are possible, but will be blocked by Network Lock and/or disabling IPv6. Kind regards
  20. Hello! One of the IP addresses you cite is the entry-IP address, the other one is the alternative entry-IP address. Sorry, we have edited your message to keep a weak/mild confidentiality on alternative IP addresses. Kind regards
  21. Hello! We confirm issues related to Windows 10 latest build (13-14 Nov 2015) and tun/tap driver installation. On all of our tested systems we managed to solve the problem in this way: make sure that Eddie client is not runningremove tun/tap driver via Control Panelreboot the system (mandatory)re-install tun/tap driverKind regards
  22. Hello, at the moment DuckDuckGo does NOT block any of our servers. Kind regards
  23. Hello, not at all. In short, just enable Network Lock. Eddie already sets by default all interfaces DNS to 10.4.0.1. If you fear that in some hot-spot the network administrator knows the AirVPN DNS server private IP, knows that you're using AirVPN and knows how to hijack the DNS queries sent to 10.4.0,1 by the physical interface thanks to the idiotic DNS implementation in Windows, then just enable Network Lock. Kind regards
  24. Hello, we have insert pcpartpicker.com site in our anti-geo-blocking service. Can you try again and confirm that it works now ? Kind regards
  25. Hello, we have identified the problem. Can you try again now please ? Kind regards
