  1. Hello! In the advanced settings, you can try to disable either one or both of DNS checking and Air tunnel check . Perhaps try other protocols too? Sent to you from me with datalove
  2. Hello! Just download Eddie from where you first downloaded it. Then you'll get version 2.10, which is the latest stable release. However if you're wanting the bleeding edge, you can try 2.11, the experimental version mentioned in the previous post. Just click "other versions", on the download page to find it. As for security, enabling Network Lock goes a long way to helping you secure yourself. However you need to be smart, as Eddie won't protect you from stupidity sadly . I also recommend using a good P2P client such as qBittorent. Sent to you from me with datalove
  3. Hello! I think that's hard to say, since Netflix actively tries to block VPNs. It's not just a matter of using a us server anymore sadly. I think Netflix support has been put on ice, sort of, since it's so patchy. Have you tried Netherlands servers? Sent to you from me with datalove
  4. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN firstly! Are you using the Eddie client with Network Lock? It doesn't sound like it. You can try out the experimental version or a portable version (so there's no mono issues or whatever). Do check out ipleak.net too Sent to you from me with datalove
  5. Hello! Were you using Eddie and Network Lock? Also, is there a reason you didn't just disable media peerconnection? Sent to you from me with datalove
  6. I went with what Air recommended, as their values align with my own. Sent to you from me with datalove
  7. You can find out by reading the Air FAQ/How to forums. Sent to you from me with datalove
  8. Hello! Meaning you right-click the program and select "run as administrator" . Sent to you from me with datalove
  9. Hello! All new users are on that queue. It depends on your posts, not the length of time you've been here. Infringers will also find themselves queued. I hope you'll follow along with a comparable hardware upgrade! Sent to you from me with datalove
  10. Hello! It depends how you pay. If you use PayPal for example, you might find it automatically renews your payment. Which requires going to your PayPal account and disabling that. But it's easily possible to stop paying whenever you like . Sent to you from me with datalove
  11. That's great . Sadly, Air hasn't developed an Eddie client for Android or mobile devices yet. So for it to work, you need to download another program of your choosing, such as OpenVPN for Android and then go to the configuration generator in the client area here, tick a few boxes and download a file unto your mobile device. Then use the aforementioned program to open the file and you should be good to go . If the connection keeps dropping or getting errors, you can try downloading the TCP version. Anyway, we'll be here if you need further help. Good luck Sent to you from me with datalove
  12. Hello! I think it's normal back and forth updating with the Air servers or something of that order . However computers themselves can be quite chatty, if you haven't stopped them from being so through things like firewalls. Sent to you from me with datalove
  13. Hello! Welcome to AirVPN . You normally have to cancel a connection first and then a button to activate network lock will appear. Otherwise just like when you first open the program and can click "connect to recommended server", there's a button which allows you to activate network lock first. Feel free to check out my new user guide too, if you wish. Sent to you from me with datalove
  14. Hello! Didn't you try AirVPNs own Eddie client? Just curious . Welcome to AirVPN. Sent to you from me with datalove
  15. Hello! Yes. AirVPN performs some sweet routing tricks, that let you access certain sites contents from any server; thus not requiring you to connect to the server country that corresponds to the service you want access to; a British server for a British website, etc. But you know, you can pay 1 euro and try out the service yourself. Welcome to AirVPN
  16. Hello ! This has been answered a number of times. Please either use the search function on the forum or use a search engine . Alternatively, I've got links in my guide to all sorts of security and privacy related topics, at the bottom. I can tell you however, that Air, as a baseline, makes things secure by default. As per their posts in places like the FAQ/How-To sections, certain practices should be avoided. But they wouldn't offer port-forwarding if they didn't think they could make it secure. It's much the same as how they don't use usernames and passwords, but instead rely on certificates, for when you use their software on your desktop for instance.
  17. Hello ! Have you made sure that your firewall isn't blocking your torrent client? Also, have you tried the Air TCP test, as shown in one of the pictures? . I'm not so familiar with Deluge, but if there's any sort of "Hidden" or "Anonymous" mode like in qBittorent, I recommend that you try to turn that off too.
  18. Maybe that's a topic worth researching on your own Sent to you from me with datalove
  19. Well by the sound of it, it doesn't seem like you've put much effort into solving it. Saying you've had the same issue and then like the OP, not providing much in the way of actionable information for us, is quite useless; since while you may feel you experience the same problem, your problem could have different causes from the OP and/or others in the thread. I wish you luck finding a better service. Sent to you from me with datalove
  20. Hello! Don't worry cm0s, I'll protect you from that scary Clodo guy[emoji6]. I should mention that Air is open to hosting (or more of) their own chat servers, if there's popular support for it. Sent to you from me with datalove
  21. Hello! I'm sorry I can't help you much, but I have to say that I at least don't think as poorly of you as you said. What a shame you hold us to such low standards. If you're kind, constructive and willing to work through issues, then you're worth it IMO. If you want to see an example of what most might not find worth it, then check this thread: https://airvpn.org/topic/19136-connected-to-server-got-hacked/?p=47441 So, we can help you better if you only provide us with information we can use to solve the issue at hand . Including whatever things you've tried already or are thinking of trying. Cheers. Sent to you from me with datalove
  22. Hello! Shared I believe. Sent to you from me with datalove

    VPN Honeypots?

Hello! It's tempting to say: "all the ones which aren't AirVPN" lol. It's hard to tell the difference between a honeypot and incompetence sometimes.
  24. Hello ! Some logs would be nice regardless . You can also try disabling the checking of the Air tunnel, in conjunction with disabling the DNS check. Sometimes both are required. However some logs would still be nice. We like logs here. We eat them for breakfast see.
  25. Hello! You didn't check ipleak.net and try download the fake torrent from it, to see your IP. You also didn't bind transmission to the interface that your VPN uses; if this is done in transmisson. Lastly, you didn't do forward any ports for transmission to work faster. I suggest you enable network lock, to avoid leaks. Sent to you from me with datalove
