  1. Hello! OpenVPN will try to do that by default, assuming that reconnection to the Internet is successful at the wake-up. You should check what happens to Internet connectivity when you wake up your computer. Kind regards
  2. Hello! Assuming that there's no traffic shaping or any other discrimination against UDP or OpenVPN itself, the most efficient mode is OpenVPN direct in UDP for sure. Kind regards

  7. Hello! As we announced repeatedly, there will be no kill switch on Eddie, because forced applications killing is not a safe method for several reasons. On the contrary, there will be a total leaks prevention, to prevent for example packets leaks in case of unexpected VPN disconnection. Eddie 2.5 will include this feature and will be released (unless unforeseen problems come out) during the first half of September (and probably it will be also promoted to "stable", no more beta). Kind regards
  8. Hello! You understood everything correctly, AND the DNS record update was broken, thus "nl.vpn.airdns.org" always resolved to Propus entry-IP address, regardless of the "best" server rating calculated by the system, causing an overwhelming congestion to Propus yesterday. The issue has been fixed several hours ago and situation is quickly reverting back to normality. Note that this system has been implemented more than one year ago and this is the first serious malfunction. Kind regards
  9. Hello! We confirm it. In the last hours we have solved the problem with OpenVPN over SSL in 25 servers. If you find anything wrong, please feel free to report the name of the server not accepting OpenVPN over SSL connections. Kind regards
  10. Hello! Our certificates were not valid in 1899 so you will not be able to connect to any VPN server. Kind regards
  11. Hello, since April 2014 you can connect simultaneously three devices from the same account to different VPN servers. Kind regards
  12. Hello! We deny such issue. DNS servers have been working and are working just fine. @doodoo888 Please note that you're publishing invalid IP addresses. The addresses you published miss an octet. Kind regards

    OS X feedback

Hello! Instructions for Tunnelblick are in the OS X instructions page. To OS X users, we have also been providing since a long ago a re-compiled OpenVPN version. Kind regards
  14. Just for the records, the ticket of this customer has been handled properly and after an explanation from us and a customer reply the ticket has been closed because the problem of the customer has been exhaustively treated. Kind regards
  15. Hello! Can you please check DNS settings? Chances are that they remained set to VPN DNS (ex. 10.4.0.1) for some reason. Since VPN DNS is accessible only inside the VPN, that could explain your problem. If confirmed, just set your system to query your favorite DNS (we recommend that you have a look at http://opennicproject.org ). Reference to change DNS servers in Mavericks: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14159 Kind regards

    OS X feedback

Hello! This will not happen, we're sorry, but don't worry: there are good OpenVPN wrappers for older OS X versions (or you can run OpenVPN directly). Kind regards

    OS X feedback

Hello! Eddie is developed for Mavericks. Upgrade to Mavericks is free. If you don't want to upgrade you can anyway use Tunnelblick, a free and open source OpenVPN wrapper for OS X (see instructions on the usual OS X instructions page), or Viscosity (a commercial, closed-source OpenVPN wrapper). Kind regards
  18. Hello! We're sorry, we're still unable to reproduce the issue. Kind regards

    OS X feedback

Hello! There are no DNS leaks on Linux. You should check your /etc/resolv.conf file or change the DNS settings in Eddie. If you have resolvconf installed try "ResolvConf" method, otherwise select "Renaming". Those options are available on the "DNS Switch Mode" combo box in "Advanced" tab. You can access the "Advanced" tab by clicking "AirVPN" button and then selecting "Preferences". Kind regards

    OS X feedback

I'm really interested in DNS Leak prevention in the EDDIE client, as I'm currently leaking. Do you've any ETA for next release? Hello! The DNS leaks prevention is and was available. It has been implemented since release 2.1 months ago. Kind regards

    OS X feedback

Hello! There is, you have probably missed it. It's our Eddie client for OS X. You can download it from the usual OS X page https://airvpn.org/macosx Implementation of total leaks prevention is also planned in the next release. However we do not force to use our own software, although it is free and open source. Any customer is free to run any favorite solution. This is extremely important. Tunnelblick is a good OpenVPN GUI/wrapper for OS X. It is open source as well and we do not understand your reference to "endless configuration". Anyone should be able to configure Tunnelblick in a minute, all in all it's just a matter of copy & paste and double-clicks. Kind regards
  22. Hello! Can you tell us (even in private) which ISP is it? Also, the Air client (only from version 2 and higher, maybe you're running version 1.x?) should bypass easily this apparent DNS poisoning. Kind regards
  23. Hello! We're very glad to inform you that a new 1 Gbit/s server located in Canada is available: Grumium. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new server, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator"). The server accepts connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP. Just like every other Air server, Grumium supports OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Team
  24. Hello! They block dozens of datacenters, entire IP ranges, and whole ranges from residential ISPs. If they need that, they do not look like very skilled hackers. Kind regards
