  1. To answer your question, you don't need to open any ports on any router for Eddie/AirVPN software/openvpn to work.
  2. You must enable the network lock before connecting to a VPN server. After connecting to a VPN server you don't have the option to enable network lock.
  3. Really, there are already plenty of posts on using policy routing in pfsense. Please search some more.
  4. Eddie worked well for a few days on Mint 18.1 but at some point the GUI crashed. The tunnel was still working but I couldn't do anything with the app. Because of the way I had to force close it down I don't have any logs. Since I'm not a linux expert is there something I should have done to get some info on the reason for the GUI crash?
  5. Logs show my setup is using OpenVPN 2.3.11. Shouldn't it be 2.4.2?
  6. seems to update automatically (via repo) on Mint 18.1 and run just fine.
  7. Necro bump here but I'm curious if this was ever looked at by Staff? It's still a wish of mine.
  8. just connect with your web browser to the LAN IP address of the device running pfsense. e.g. 192.168.1.1 Connecting w/ serial cable. Hence, minicom (or putty, SSH etc). Not on LAN I don't know what to tell you. The guide here uses the web GUI.
  9. I've never heard of not being able to log in. But, your configurations in tunnelblick should work if you click advanced mode and choose "resolved hosts in ovpn" option when creating the config....and choose something like TCP 443.
  10. I replied to your other thread.

  12. I've been here a while and there have been a lot of people using dd-wrt in that time. Never have I seen anybody say they thought a wrt54g was required. Most are bright enough to know, from research they've done, that dd-wrt can be put on many quite modern routers. And besides that point, many modern routers are coming with openvpn clients stock!
  13. I saw 15k earlier today I don't know how I missed it.
  14. The last couple weeks it seems there have been much fewer users online after some time passing of often seeing over 15000 users online. I wonder why?
  15. you just bought a router that's 15 years old? yep I hope you only paid like $5 for it. Next time ask questions if you're learning and the forum doesn't already have the answer in other threads. I hate to see you spend money you didn't need to spend and have a poor experience here. I really don't know if you can get openvpn client working on that router with Air. But, if you did, the processor is so slow it would probably be useless for you. It just can't run openvpn fast enough. Encrypting and decrypting is CPU intensive. What do you plan to do now?

  18. I think utp will give you the green light. Disable it and restart the app and see. I get better performance with it off anyway.

  20. If you're testing with AirVPN's testing page I encourage you to try another test like dslreports or beta.speedtest.net. Or try downloading an Ubuntu torrent. That'll show you max speed.
  21. I can't believe mods are allowing you to post the same thing over and over again. Just use 10.4.0.1 for DNS.
  22. Just maxmind database (used by ipleak.net) being outdated and google keeping up with things better.
  23. What port+protocol combinations have you tried?
