Hello! Please enable Network Lock from the Overview tab in Eddie. Do also try out ipleak.net
-
Hello! I think it'll be beneficial if you share that in the beta thread, thank you . I must admit I didn't notice it changed. You may need to uninstall and/or stop those routines from running, before using the beta again.

Hello! Could you please post your Eddie logs, after you try click Login? You may be able to enable logging in Preferences>Logging, if you can't access the regular Logs tab due to freezing. Which system are you on specifically? If Linux, you may be luckier with a portable version of Eddie. Assuming you can obtain some logs, you might be able to help by posting in the beta thread, later on. Thankyou.

Hello! I would say enjoy it while it lasts, instead of using up precious time trying to confirm it, if you obtained access

Maybe you could try run it as administrator? You could also try download the experimental client . (Instructions in my signature link). -

Hello! By reinstalling, do you mean installing the latest Stable client? It's worth checking if there's an update. -

It sounds like it's all fine really. Especially if you're not leaking as per ipleak.net . -
ANSWERED qTorrent + AirVpn = Am I "safe"?
LZ1 replied to B3nB3n's topic in Troubleshooting and Problems
Could to tell me how to do that and what advantage I get from that? I found a lot of threads for that, but it was always very technical, honestly too technical for me. Maybe you can help me with that! Could you also help me with setting the Air DNS? Sorry for all the questions, I did some research but couldn't find an adequat answer. Pointing me to the right direction/thread would help! Thank you! In the first picture, with "Enabled protocols TCP & uTP" you may be able to change it to use only TCP. Also in the image where you use Ethernet 2. The box should contain a drop-down menu for tun0 or similar. It's to help ensure torrenting happens on the interface Air is used on. Under Advanced>Optional Address to bind to, you should see an IP address in the drop-down, underneath the "Network protocols" box.Do also make sure you're using the latest qBIttorent. Go to the Help tab and see which one is on your system. Depending on which OS you use, you can then compare the version to qBittorents download page. Then restart the client when all those settings are in place and download the test torrent from ipleak.net. Let it show a couple of addresses, instead of just 1, as per your uploaded picture. Then go to the Air Client Area and test the portforwarding. After that, you can experiment with using different protocol and location combinations in Eddie, when torrenting, to see what works for you. You can use a Linux torrent if you want to test performance. Then Linux will be on your system and you can perhaps practice using a virtual machine too I'm glad the guides were of some help . -

Hello! You can check some of the torrenting guides in my signature if you would like. Anonymous mode may cause problems for you in terms of speed and can be disabled without consequence.UTP protocol may also cause some speed issues, so you can try not using it.Couldn't you bind it to a tun0 interface of some sort, instead of Ethernet2?Was there no option in the torrent client settings to use Air DNS?Otherwise it looks good to me . Well done. -
Hello! Did you portforward?
-
Yep works now. Thanks Staff.

Good show . Wait until Airs birthday in May/June and you can catch a discount

Hello! Can confirm, I get the same 100 errors showing up in Firefox, from Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon. I thought it was just me, as I was messing with Eddie's DNS beforehand. If you wait a while, it will reduce like mine did, to something like "44 tests pending, 66 errors". But these numbers change all the time.

Android - always connecting to same AirVPN server
LZ1 replied to kljaweif's topic in Troubleshooting and Problems
This just creates hundreds of single files, all with one IP. Is there really no way to do this automatically? Why was the "all servers" option removed from the config generator? I'm not sure honestly, I faintly recall a post perhaps being made about it, but I can't find it at the moment. You may need to contact support and report back. -

Perhaps because you can select which ones you want, based on both region, such as Europe, or specific countries, further down the page. While also being able to input a custom command like "remote-random". -

Hello! Please look here for Android. Please look here for routers. I hope that helps you with connecting to random locations . Welcome to AirVPN! -

Try go to Preferences>Protocols>Switch to TCP and reconnect to a location of your choosing please. You may in the end also choose to try out the experimental client, if things still don't work . -

Well that's progress. But I'm afraid that as before, your explanations are good, but logs are better . I assume it has resulted in authorisation errors. In which case you may go to your Client Area and make any necessary disconnections to stay under the limit. You may also try logging out of both the website and Eddie client and then in again. -
Was just browsing this forum and had never tried the speed test, and thought I'd give it a go. Tried the drop down Speed Test (Web) and nothing happened. On Mac 10.11.6 running 2.14 beta and tried with Firefox and Safari. Firefox addons appear not to be blocking anything on Airvpn site. Safari (which I rarely use and have no blockers) didn't work either. The other drop down selections all seem to connect no problem, except the speed test. Hello! The Air speedtest no longer exists and this wasn't really announced anywhere, so it's not odd if you didn't know. It was unreliable and following many complaints/issues as you see in this thread, it was decided it was best to take it away. But some links as the one you mentioned may still remain in some places. I suggest you update to Eddie 2.14.2 and you should find that the Speed Test (Web) shortcut has been removed from Eddie. No further speed test tools are planned AFAIK, but luckily there's many other ways of testing speed. I hope that answers your questions. Locked.

How to optimize/setup AirVPN and uTorrent for torrenting?
LZ1 replied to tylerismisfit's topic in General & Suggestions
How is anyone going to understand that guide? It's not made for normal users at all, it's for superusers. I paid for this VPN just like everyone else, now why does it have to be so hard to follow the official guides, just because I'm not into computers? I am getting minimum speeds with AirVPN connected and really fast without it connected. Hello! Old thread this is. Can you please specify which speeds you're referring to? As there's a difference between if it's torrenting or just regular use. Assuming it's torrenting for instance, did you try port-forwarding? Assuming it's regular use, did you try different protocols and location combinations? Eitherway, there's plenty of other posts and guides alike. You could start with the one in my signature, if you wish. Your frustration is also understandable. Perhaps one can say that Air, for different reasons, attracts many techy users and therefore it goes hand in hand with the increased complexity for some topics. But before we can help you, we need to know more about what you're trying to do, what you tried already and other details such as Eddie logs, if needed for troubleshooting. Note also that the guide you're referring to, was written by a community member, NaDre, not Air Staff. If that makes it any less "official" for you. -
ANSWERED Driver Installation Failed on connect
LZ1 replied to MikeFromIT's topic in Troubleshooting and Problems
Thank you, that's more like it. Can you try go to Control Panel > Network & Sharing center > Network Adapters > Disable and then re-enable TAP. Then re-connect to a location in Eddie? Sometimes this works. -

Good. But that was why I requested your entire log, instead of just the area you cut out. As then we would be able to see which Eddie client you're using and whether or not it's appropriate to recommend that you update it. -

Hello! First of all, assuming you're using Eddie, then please paste your entire log . Otherwise there's other threads you can look through in the meantime.
