  1. Hello! Then please try the experimental client, as that error looks similar to one which got fixed in 2.14.2. Instructions on where to find it can be found in my signature.
  2. Have you tried the portable mono version? This one works flawlessly for me in Arch Linux and it's wicked fast, much faster than the ppa version that I used in Ubuntu 16.04. The non-mono portable version on the other hand is slow as hell. I haven't tested the AUR version yet. No such luck I can't get the portable mono version to run on my system at all, unhandled exception everytime. Perhaps you could share some details about that exception?
  3. As the guide OP states, he's not sure what to do if something is different in that case. But he did link to helpful posts and by extension, you could create an account and raise the issue on their forums if you wish and then share any solutions you find, here.
  4. Haha, well there you go . Thanks for sharing the steps and solution with us.
  5. Alright. My only other suggestion would be to try SSL/SSH with qBittorent, as to my knowledge it doesn't just reconfigure itself upon contact with those protocols. I deleted your double post.
  6. That link doesn't work. You can use something like this instead or upload a file to your post as well. Switching browsers is also an option. It seems you get many browser errors - did you make sure your browser is up to date? No your real IP won't show, but your local username will.
  7. Hello! I can't tell you why the support ticket failed. But if you want help, please go to your Eddie client and its Logs tab and paste all the logs here, as we otherwise don't know what's going on, thank you. If you're unsure how, then there's instructions in my signature.
  8. Hello! It's quite possible they detect you're using this product and then punish you for it. There's a guide to getting around it, in the link in my signature, in its guides section, for that ISP specifically. It means your connection might be slowed to a speed it normally wouldn't be at, if you weren't using Air. Yes that's possible. It's not unusual for ISPs to shape traffic, but it's a bad habit. For a quick fix: use the Air Eddie client, go to its Preferences menu>Protocols>Uncheck "Automatic">Select SSL or SSH>Connect to a location. Then the Stats tab will show you're using the protocol. It can help get around blocks.
  9. Thank you. Please try look here and see if it helps you.
  10. All of your logs please, as it contains lots of useful information besides the error itself .
  11. Hello! If you're using Eddie, then there's a logs tab you can click on. If you do, you can then share the logs with us here, which will help us identify the problem . There's also instructions in the link in my signature. You can go to the client area and check you're not trying to make more than 5 connections.
  12. Could you please tell us which torrent client you're using and if for example you did things such as binding it to the tun0 interface? There's a guide to configuring torrent clients, in my signature. In the same way, are you also port-forwarding? Assuming you're using Eddie, are you using it with Network Lock on? Is all this through a Wi-Fi connection? (You can check your QoS settings). There's no need, if you're using Eddie. Simply untick "Automatic" in the Protocols area, select a protocol and connect to a location. If already connected, then reconnect after selection.
  13. Please try the experimental client and report back in that thread.
  14. No worries, glad to be of assistance . It's more ideal they're enabled and you can always try enable them afterwards, but when this issue occurs, it's a "quick fix". You can check here.
  15. Hello! Staff commented on the use of that protocol once, so for them this is presumably nothing new .
  16. Hello! Presuming you're using the Eddie client, there's a Logs tab in it, which contains information you can share with us. Maybe something comes up, regarding that location you were trying to connect to .
  17. Great post. Please try going to Eddies preferences and unchecking "Check Air DNS" and "Check if Air Tunnel works" and then connect to a different location .
  18. Hello! If you're using the Eddie client, could you try going to Preferences>Protocols>Picking SSL or SSH and see what happens?
  19. I'd definitely put my money on it being Comcast, just from the number of posts about them, detailing this sort of scenario. But you're certainly correct that good hardware is a factor in speed; a solid non-ISP router and PC hardware can do wonders for speed issues.
  20. Hello! We can't tell you if there's a lawsuit coming or not. It depends on many factors - not least which country you're in, what you were torrenting and so forth. But I think it's generally unlikely you'll get a letter. If you do, they can often be ignored, as proof is sparse and many rely on recipients incriminating themselves - but it goes without saying that you should definitely take this as a lesson for the future . It's also mandatory to mention that if you were using the Eddie client, that using Network Lock where possible, is strongly recommended.
  21. Hello! You make some incorrect assumptions . The client connects to recommended locations based on a series of parameters. Not which country you call home, as such. Besides, there's some good sides to connecting to foreign locations. As for logs, may I refer you to one of my prior answers. I hope that answers your concerns. If not, please feel free to say so.
  22. Hello! Please go to Eddie>Preferences>Protocols>Untick "Automatic">Then click TCP 443>Then connect to a location. After that, the Stats tab will be able to confirm which protocol you're using. Next time, it would also be better if you just posted the logs directly, thank you . Since you're using Comcast though, please do try either the SSL or SSH protocols too, for speed issues. Just remember to reconnect to a location each time you switch protocols please. It should also be said there's many things which factor in on network performance. Not least the hardware that your computer/modem/router/etc. are running. Thus upgrades can be really beneficial.
  23. Hello! If you're using some kind of client app for it, you can check if there's any port-forwarding settings, which you could configure in conjunction with similar settings on this site. That's as much "through" Air as you can get, I think . Otherwise I would suggest trying different protocols. Typically, if an ISP is messing with you, the SSL or SSH protocols can work wonders.
  24. Hello! If it makes you feel any better, Eddie is "just" a wrapper for OpenVPN and if you use it, you'll get access to the Network Lock feature too .
