  1. At the third or fourth confirmation of the transaction the system is normally able to recover a "timed out" transaction automatically. Note: we remind you that this "time out" is enforced by Coinbase, NOT by us! Kind regards
  2. Thank you for your choice! Please open a ticket and our sales dep. will provide you with full support. Kind regards
  3. You are right, "man" and Eddie CLI can be better. However, man pages are generated automatically by Eddie, so we can improve them, but we can't "import" an external "airvpn.1" file created by you. Please simply be patient, the next beta release will contain your suggested improvements. Kind regards
  4. Hello! 1) Enable "Network Lock" to prevent leaks in case of unexpected VPN disconnection and any other case. 2) You can tell the Air client Eddie to connect always to a selected pool of VPN servers by defining a white list. Eddie will connect only to servers included in the white list when it is defined. You can also tell Eddie to try to re-connect always to the same VPN server by ticking "Lock current". Kind regards
  5. Yes, thanks, reported and acknowledged bug fixed in the build you will see soon. Can you report 2.11.x beta bugs on this thread: https://airvpn.org/topic/18625-eddie-211beta-available/ and report only bugs that have not been already reported? Thanks! Kind regards
  6. Hello, a man page deserves its own thread. The other ones are off-topic partially, and anyway on the original thread you posted into we want to focus on Eddie 2.11.x bug reporting and fixing. We are interested, let's also see community feedback. Kind regards
  7. This is unfortunately useless to us, please follow these guidelines: https://airvpn.org/topic/18625-eddie-211beta-available/page-7?do=findComment&comment=46528 if you want to help us find the bug, if any. And you can't rely on "remove default gateway" because Windows can re-instate it. Kind regards
  8. Make sure that ICMP packets are allowed. Eddie uses "ping" to compile the servers ratings, together with all the other parameters. If ping fails, even if the other parameters are available, Eddie will not show the stars (correctly) and of course can not show the round trip times. Kind regards
  9. The new method applies to Windows only, nothing changed on GNU/Linux. We have edited the message to make it clearer. Thank you for the report. When the DNS check fails (like it did the first 8 times) please take note of the content of /etc/resolv.conf - also, what is the DNS Switch method set on Eddie? Kind regards
  10. Please move here https://airvpn.org/topic/18625-eddie-211beta-available/page-7?do=findComment&comment=46528 and report back at your convenience, thank you in advance. Kind regards
  11. We are aware of the problem which is caused by a non-working IP address (null routed?). We have repeatedly contacted datacenter (ATE) support service (and other e-mail addresses of theirs) and they never replied. We are considering to drop them because of this intolerable lack of care. Kind regards
  12. That depends on OpenVPN, not Eddie. Eddie talks with OpenVPN Management and never kills OpenVPN without grace for obvious reasons. Kind regards
  13. Hello! It will be available in the next beta version. It's about editing AirVPN.xml config file, and adding something like <providers> <OpenVPN title="OtherVpnProvider1" path="X:\ovpn_archive1\"/> <OpenVPN title="My personal" path="X:\ovpn_personal\" login='abc' password='123'/> </providers> For each provider, Eddie looks in the specified path for .ovpn config files (recursively). Eddie will add any .ovpn file found as "Servers", with a name composed by provider title + filename. If the .ovpn file uses the "auth-user-pass" directive, the login/password in the XML are used for authentication. Of course the protocol and port used are from .ovpn file and tunnel/dns checks are not performed. Column like 'Users' or 'Bandwidth' will be blank. Countries are detected by "geo-locating" the IP address (there is an option about external web services for this detection). It's a feature under development, a lot of improvements and better usability are needed, and it's not really tested with a lot of .ovpn configuration files yet. Kind regards
  14. Hello! ONLY FOR WINDOWS USERS Previous Eddie editions (Eddie 2.11 adopts a new method that prevents DNS Leaks, so in theory it's not necessary anymore to force network interfaces DNS. For this reason, the option "Settings -> Advanced -> Force all network interfaces for DNS" is disabled by default. But some of you report DNS Leak. We can't reproduce the issue on any of our machines in our labs. So, anyone wishing to collaborate will be welcome. Please ensure: - Settings -> DNS -> DNS Switch Mode: Automatic - Settings -> DNS -> DNS Servers: empty - Settings -> Advanced -> IPv6: Disable - Settings -> Advanced -> Force all network interfaces for DNS: DISABLED - Settings -> Advanced -> Ensure DNS lock: enabled - Settings -> Advanced -> WFP: enabled All the options above are set to the default settings. Please report: - Your Windows version - Whether you have IPv6 or not. - If you have DNS leaks. If so, please generate a report by clicking life belt icon in Logs tabs, and copy it at least up to the "Default gateways:" line. Please post it in "spoiler" tag. Kind regards
  15. Hello, this is a Windows bug that must be fixed by Microsoft. You can use your firewall in the meantime. Our client software can help but of course we can't be charged with the duty to fix any possible Windows or other systems vulnerability. We will never insert anti-malware functions in an OpenVPN wrapper and for the same reason it would be questionable to insert code to patch extremely specific OS vulnerabilities. Modularity is important. And apparently one should be quite idiot to be effectively exploited with this: you should use weak system password (otherwise the attacker can't rebuild your password from the hash), and use the same weak credentials on a variety of services around. Agreed that the average Windows user is not so smart, but in this case ValdikSS presumption (apparently) is that this user is unrealistically stupid. You mean leak of HASH of your Windows system account password, right? Kind regards
  16. Different problem then. This thread will not help you, feel free to open a ticket at your convenience. Kind regards
  17. Hello, can you please try again now (restart the Air client Eddie if the problem persists)? Kind regards
  18. Hello, can you please try again now (restart Eddie if the problem persists) and report back? Kind regards
  19. Hello, with "OpenVPN over SSL" we have managed to cause WITCH to fail with "mssfix 1275" and lower values. Don't ask us why (we know, it doesn't make much sense in a TCP connection), it was just a quick test out of curiosity, maybe in the future we perform more research. Kind regards
  20. Hello, can you please try again now and report back? Kind regards
  21. Hello, can you please try again now and report back? Kind regards
  22. @drummer45 OS X 10.11.6 is available since July the 18th but it's possible that upgrade from 10.11.5 has been applied only recently on several systems. Thank you for the report. Can you please now test with Network Lock on and route check off? To disable route check please untick "Check if the tunnel works" in "AirVPN" > "Preferences" > "Advanced" (in Eddie 2.11.3). Kind regards
  23. Hello, can you specify your exact OS X version and also tell us whether the problem occurs with Network Lock enabled, disabled or in both cases (with route check enabled, of course)? It has nothing to do with any problem on our side you cite. Instead, we start to suspect it could be a problem of Eddie under specific settings in a specific OS X version. Kind regards
  24. zhang888 is a moderator, so you can consider him as part of forum staff. AirVPN staff is another thing and in the forum only messages from "Staff" can be considered as coming from AirVPN staff. Back to the topic, the question was ill-posed and anyway the reply from zhang888 is precise. Locking thread to prevent further discussions on nothing. EDIT: thread moved to off-topic and unlocked.
