Hello! We're very glad to inform you that two new 1 Gbit/s servers located in Belgium are available: Capricornus and Columba. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator"). The servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP. Just like every other Air server, Capricornus and Columba support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. Hello! That could be caused by a corrupt AirVPN.xml file (the configuration file). Try to delete it (with root privileges) while the Air client software Eddie is not running. Find out the location of the file by running Eddie and looking at the first log entries (click "Logs" tab). Take note of the path, shut down Eddie ("AirVPN" > "Exit"), open a terminal and type : sudo rm /complete/path/AirVPN.xml Kind regards

Hello! It's correct, Eddie UI probably won't work with Wayland, we have planned an investigation in the near future (it is probably related to Mono). General advices to fix the problem in OS X: reboot both the router and the systemif the problem persists try to "patch" the notorious OS X bug with WiFi. You might need to periodically re-apply the "patch". Probably not relevant if you connect your Mac with Ethernet. The bug affects all OS X versions and macOS Sierra. We can confirm this bug with a preliminary test, on Windows ONLY. WINDOWS USERS: IF YOU NEED NETWORK LOCK PLEASE DO NOT USE THE "ROUTES" FEATURE IN THE BETA CLIENT SOFTWARE UNTIL FURTHER INVESTIGATION. Hello, please make sure that: in "AirVPN" > "Preferences" > "Routes" the combo box "Not specified routes go:" is set to "Inside the VPN tunnel"the IP range for the routes outside the VPN is correctly set If in doubt please open a ticket and send us a system report ("Logs" > click life belt icon > paste) taken while the problem is occurring. Also note that IP addresses in "Outside Tunnel" are not "locked" by Network Lock. Kind regards

Which is based on lies as we proved in a discussion in our forums (the identity of the account is confirmed). The author (account "thatoneprivacyguy" in the thread linked below) was unable to support his opinions. When he was put in front of compelling evidence all he was able to do was stating that he did not change his mind. This behavior made him lose any credibility. By the way, the web site lacks the most essential information about VPN settings and security (it does not even say if VPN gateway and DNS IP addresses match or not, for example, or how OpenVPN is exactly configured). Personally I would stop using AirVPN's UK servers from within the UK. also move your email provider elsewhere, preferably to a datacentre in the same country as your VPN. Your traffic is anonymous, but they'll be sniffing your mail as it leaves the data centre. And of course always encrypt mail content with gpg. Kind regards

Hello, 1) enlarge considerably torrent client RAM buffer, so that it writes to the HDD less frequently 2) if you have an asymmetric line make sure that the upload bw of the torrent client does not choke the line (set stricter limits from the torrent client options) 3) if you have some file system that has no effective algorithm to avoid fragmentation, defragment the HDD 4) consider zhang888 suggestion. If you have USB 3, even a good USB key might be enough. Make sure to take one that can support at least 28 MB/s in writing and set the external storage in the torrent client options. Kind regards

A plausible explanation is that Eddie was unable to restore your system DNS settings, either because it was not shut down properly or for a rare but nasty bug in 2.10.3 and earlier versions.
