ANSWERED server not working for 3 days

Hello! If you run Eddie Desktop edition you can pick a specific server from the "Servers" window, or you can let Eddie pick a server automatically. If you run Eddie Android edition you can pick a specific server on the "AIRVPN SERVER" view, or you can let Eddie pick a server automatically. If you run Goldcrest and Bluetit, you can pick a server through the proper option air-server in Goldcrest or airserver Bluetit run control file. If you run a program which reads a configuration file, for example the official WireGuard or OpenVPN software, you can generate as many configuration files as you wish from the Configuration Generator available in your AirVPN account Client Area. Generate configuration files according to your needs. The guide to getting started is available here: https://airvpn.org/forums/topic/18339-guide-to-getting-started-links-for-advanced-users/ Answers to frequently asked questions are available here: https://airvpn.org/faqs/ Kind regards

    WireGuard

Hello! Very glad to know it. Eddie 2.23 and older versions "Automatic" mode is OpenVPN in UDP, always. Eddie 2.24 and newer versions select what the manifest tells (currently WireGuard). WireGuard offers higher performance and efficiency, and a few privacy issues which are mitigated in our system. Please see here for an overview: https://airvpn.org/faq/wireguard/ Kind regards

Port forwarding is working now. Two things caused the issue for me. 1. The default firewall rule created when port forwarding is broken. 2. The Antivirus software on my computer was blocking the connection. Fixes: Issue 1 ---> In case this helps anyone in future - When creating a port forward for a Wireguard interface in OPNSense, the automatic firewall that is created doesn't work.To fix this, go to the wireguard interface firewall rules. Create a new rule that's the same as the automatic firewall rule, except click "Advanced features: Show/Hide" and set "reply-to" to the wireguard interface. Then go back to the port forward rule and set "Filter rule association" to "None" to remove the original (broken) firewall rule. Issue 2 ---> Adjust the firewall rules on the computer to allow the connection

    ANSWERED Checking route IPv4...

Hello! From here: E 2023.10.28 03:48:40 - Checking route IPv4 failed, last reason: Fetch url error:Timeout was reached . 2023.10.28 03:48:40 - OpenVPN > write UDP: Unknown error (code=10065) . 2023.10.28 03:48:40 - OpenVPN > write UDP: Unknown error (code=10065) . 2023.10.28 03:48:40 - OpenVPN > write UDP: Unknown error (code=10065) . 2023.10.28 03:48:40 - Above log line repeated 77 times more it's plausible that UDP is blocked. Please make sure that no packet filtering tool in the router blocks UDP. If the problem persists, please try a connection in TCP (OpenVPN, protocol TCP, entry-IP addtress 3, port 443) and check what happens. You can change connection mode in Eddie's "Preferences" > "Protocols" window. Uncheck "Automatic", select the line with the mentioned connection mode (the line will be highlighted), click "Save" and test again connections. Kind regards
