New 1 Gbit/s server available (CA)

Hello! We're very glad to inform you that a new 1 Gbit/s full duplex server located in Vancouver (Canada) is available: Ginan. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new server; if you use any other OpenVPN or WireGuard client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator"). The server accepts connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 1194, 2018 UDP and TCP for OpenVPN and ports 1637 and 47107 UDP for WireGuard. Ginan supports OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH, TLS 1.3, OpenVPN tls-crypt and WireGuard. Full IPv6 support is included as well. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses and 4096 bit DH key not shared with any other VPN server. You can check the status as usual in our real time servers monitor: https://airvpn.org/servers/Ginan Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Team

Hello community, since a few days, my connection drops after turning VPN off. I'm running Eddie 2.22.2 on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS. The issue occurs both with OpenVPN and Wireguard. I found out that the DNS servers do not update after turning off VPN or closing Eddie: cat /etc/resolv.conf The output remains the same after closing the connection. It still uses nameservers set by Eddie. If i manually set another dns server in resolve.conf (e.g. my router's IP), things work again. How can I prevent the entries to be persisted in resolv.conf? Thank you and greetings, Boris

The big Port Forwarding Airvpn Topic

@UndeN Hello! Please check your ticket before going on with the discussion, it looks like you ignored the answer by the support team member who should have found the fault in your configuration (executive summary: you did not forward remotely port 44158 form your AirVPN account control panel). Also, as a moderator already told you, please do not hijack threads, you already opened your own on the matter, keep the discussion there. By following simple rules and moderator directions you will improve forum readability. Thanks in advance. Kind regards
