    AirVPN supports PeerTube by Framasoft

Hello! We are glad to inform you that we support PeerTube by Framasoft as mécène. PeerTube is a tool for sharing online videos developed by Framasoft, a french non-profit, which allows you to create your own video platform, in complete independence. PeerTube also enables platforms to be connected to each other, creating a big network of autonomous and interconnected platforms. Moreover, PeerTube does not depend on any advertising and does not track users. https://joinpeertube.org/ Check out our mission page: https://airvpn.org/mission Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Staff

6+ years and more to come

I’ve now been with AirVPN for over 6 years and it has always been an exemplary service. The transfer speeds are always very good and the options you get are out of this world. To name just a few like ssl/ssh tunnels, WireGuard servers, many possibilities for custom configs and operating systems, and the newly discovered DNS filtering which I use for my kids. I’d also like to take the opportunity to give the support team a shout out for the great work they do. Over the years I opened a few support tickets and each of them turned out to be a problem on my side and not on theirs. I try and keep up to date with VPN providers but nothing seems to come close to what AirVPN has to offer and so very few inspire any confidence at all. Thank you AirVPN, I’ll be signing up for another 6 years.

AirVPN and UK Online Safety Bill

Hello! A reference for the readers: https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2022/08/uks-online-safety-bill-attacks-free-speech-and-encryption We have not yet received anything by our legal advisors, therefore the following considerations do not include legal advice or opinions. It must also be said that the bill has not been approved yet. That said, apparently the scope of the bill includes any user generated content platform (different enforcement according to the amount of users), so VPN servers are outside the scope. Our forum and our XMPP servers would be inside the scope, but they operate outside UK jurisdiction so the bill will not affect any part of our services. Needless to say that running UK government proprietary software inside our machines with very high privileges (to allow traffic sniffing on any interface) is anyway a requirement by severely sick minds and we would never comply in any case. Kind regards
