You can forget Fritz!Box. Asus routers need a different firmware like AsusWRT or OpenWRT; other people might be able to say more. It is possible with a Pi, but I wouldn't recommend it. OpenVPN needs a bit of beef from the hardware which the Pi cannot really deliver. But as I wrote, it is possible.
