Hello! We're very glad to inform you that a new 1 Gbit/s server located in Belgrade (RS) is available: Alnitak. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new server. If you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator"). The server accepts connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 1194, 2018 UDP and TCP. Just like every other "second generation" Air server, Alnitak supports OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH, TLS 1.2 and tls-crypt. Full IPv6 support is included as well. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. You can check the server status as usual in our real time servers monitor: https://airvpn.org/servers/Alnitak Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Team

Installing the new "Experimental" version solved the iptables issue - loading time was reduced to only a few seconds via the GUI 🙂. Unfortunately this introduced a new problem; I could only browse online through the VPN 😕. Even if I disabled Network Lock and closed Eddie, I still couldn't go online (though I WAS actually connected). From advice I found in another post, I eliminated that problem by closing Eddie and running the following command in terminal: sudo iptables -F Thanks, giganerd.

First of all, you could try the most recent version which is 2.17.2. So, these gaps are truly puzzling. What if you call iptables -L for example, does it take as long as it does in the logs?

Hello and thank you! Our provider ensured us that this migration is essential to resolve once and for all the congestion problems you have might noticed in the last weekend. We need more redundancy and assurance that our guaranteed bandwidth allocation is respected by the dc. Yes, you need to re-generate the configuration files after the migration has been completed. Kind regards

Thanks for the heads up. I love these servers and hope the relocation keeps them in great shape. I'm not running Eddie, just PFsense/OpenVPN. Just to confirm, I WILL need to re-download the files?

Hello! It sounds related to a notorious Office 365 bug which Microsoft refuses to patch so far. Please see here: https://www.macwheeler.com/windows-10-office-365-cannot-connect-over-openvpn-fixed/ Verify whether that's really the source of the problem or not. Kind regards
