Because it's not the latest version, which is 1.0.16, and which requires macOS 12 or higher version. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wireguard/id1451685025?mt=12

The latest eddie-ui debian package (2.26.2)complains " Can't create service in this OS" during package install and asks for elevation/root password on every run. I am on Debian Forky/Sid as of now, is this expected behaviour?

Confirmed, will be fixed in the next release, tested on Debian 14. Thanks.
