Four new 1 Gbit/s servers available (UK)

Recommended Posts

Hello!

We're very glad to inform you that four new 1 Gbit/s servers located in the United Kingdom are available: Alshain, Asterion, Asterope and Chow.

The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").

The new servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP.

Just like every other Air server,  Alshain, Asterion, Asterope and Chow support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH.

As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses.

Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue.

Kind regards and datalove
AirVPN Team

Hello!

You said that Servers were named after stars, I think. So who in their right mind names a star Chow?! I think that's my fav server name. Chow. Makes me think of Chinatown and good food, yummm. You should've gone all the way and just named it Chow Mein haha.

I'm glad you re-stocked on them datalove supplies ^^. However, so many servers for undeserving Brexit Britain? Air, you have a heart of gold!

Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you.

More servers = more datalove!

Can't seem to connect to Chow or Asterope through DD-wrt?

Edit: Seems to work when i change to 'none' in the TLS Cipher box. Never had that issue before.

Has anyone else had trouble logging into the new servers? I'm using eddie 2.10.3

If the 'protocol' preferences are set to 'automatic', I get an error...
write UDPv4: operation not permitted (code=1)

If the 'protocol' is set to SSL 443, the message is...

TCPv4 CLIENT link remote: [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:57801

Then just restarts.

Am I alone?

I am also using v2.10.3 without any problems. The new ones are working just fine for me. Windows 7 OS, Comodo CIS security and qBittorrent for d/l.
