  1. Hello! This is an expected behavior and a normal feature. In our opinion it's very logic, if not obvious. If Network Lock is inactive no traffic is blocked at all. Kind regards You guys are either joking with me or my english is absolutely horrible. Please, tell me with a yes or no: - Should Network Lock remain active when restarting the computer? Hello! NO. See also here: https://airvpn.org/topic/12229-network-lock-in-eddie-25-can-not-share-home-network-with-other-computers-when-enabled/?do=findComment&comment=24563 Kind regards
  2. Hello! We just tested again Air client Eddie 2.8.8 on Win 7 x64. Air client correctly disables Windows firewall notifications during network lock. Please: - open Windows Firewall control panel - send us a screenshotof the Windows Firewall control panel - activate Network Lock from Air client - again send us a screenshot of the Windows Firewall control panel - deactivate Network Lock from Air client - once again send us a screenshot of the Windows Firewall control panel You can also do that on a ticket if you prefer so for privacy reasons. Kind regards
  3. Hello! Network Lock is explained here: https://airvpn.org/topic/12175-network-lock A warning note: if Network Lock survived a reboot, your dedicated or virtual server would risk to become inaccessible if at reboot OpenVPN, for any reason, failed to connect to some VPN server. In this case, if you didn't have physical access to your server, you would need an intervention from the datacenter technicians. There are other factors which make permanent modifications to your system dangerous. Until now, we have followed the philosophy to interfere with your system settings only while the client is running. If the client shuts down properly (but not if it is killed without grace, or if it crashes), or at reboot, all the previous systems settings are restored. In this way we do not interfere permanently with your system (a thing which can be very problematic in some cases) and at the same time we leave the freedom to implement a "permanent lock" as default setting which is restored when client shuts down or after a reboot. Kind regards
  4. Hello, your account has no limitations or penalizations at all. A maximum of 3 simultaneous connections are possible with the same account (to different VPN servers to prevent conflicts) but even if you try additional, simultaneous connections, your account will not be locked out or penalized. The additional connections will simply be refused. So it looks like a problem on your side. Logs might provide some clues. Kind regards
  5. Hello! Our DDNS service is reserved to VPN usage, so *.airdns.org names will resolve exclusively to some VPN server exit-IP address. When you don't specify a port in a browser, by default it tries port 80 for http and port 443 for https. That's why you need to specify the destination port. Kind regards
  6. Hello! Thank you for your interest in AirVPN. Please allow 30 minutes - 48 hours for trial requests. If you're in a hurry you might like to use our 1 EUR plan (fully refundable). Kind regards

  8. Hello! Yes, it will be fixed soon. Kind regards
  9. Hello! We just installed Mint 17.1 Rebecca with Mate desktop, installed the .deb edition, it works every time. We know that sometimes Eddie 2.7 hung at startup under Linux, but we can't reproduce the issue with 2.8 to investigate at the moment. Kind regards
  10. Hello! We prefer at the moment CoinBase over BitPay. bitcoincodes.com did not order new coupon codes since a long ago. Kind regards

  15. Hello! We're very glad to inform you that two new 1 Gbit/s servers located in Canada are available: Kraz and Rana. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator"). The servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP. Just like every other Air server, Kraz and Rana support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH. As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue. Kind regards and datalove AirVPN Team

  18. Hello! Please try to reset Windows Firewall while Eddie is NOT running: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/restore-windows-firewall-settings Feel free to keep us informed. Kind regards
  19. Hello! No, nothing at all during the last week... maybe it was just a temporary problem of your ISP. Kind regards
  20. Hello, it's not a big issue, we will implement it in the near future. Kind regards
  21. Hello! It looks fine, very probably the router CPU has not enough processing power to sustain a higher than 9-10 Mbit/s AES-256 throughput. On your computer, maybe you can even get better performance, keep trying different servers and connection modes (in particular test port 53 in UDP and OpenVPN over SSL - in Eddie "AirVPN" -> "Preferences" -> "Protocols" it is called "SSL Tunnel - Port 443"). Kind regards
  22. Hello, did you receive the answer to your ticket (TLS Cipher was wrong)? Kind regards
  23. Hello! Please see https://airvpn.org/topic/12102-forgot-how-to-find-entrance-ip/?do=findComment&comment=19814 Kind regards
  24. Hello, in any good or bad case do not trust speed tests. Try to test with real life usage and multiple streams. Kind regards
  25. Hello! No. It was meant to behave in the same way. This is a feature and has its good logic. Those who need a permanent Network Lock can achieve the purpose with just a firewall rule. After that, Network Lock will allow communications to VPN servers only. When Network Lock is disabled or Eddie client shuts down properly, the permanent, customized rule blocking everything will be restored. Implementing a permanent Network Lock directly on Eddie can anyway be nice (but nothing more). Kind regards
