If you compare with "OpenVPN for Android" and "openvpn-connect", on equal terms, you should see that Eddie is more battery conscious: you should experience 15% longer battery life, approximately. CPU performs an intensive encryption/decryption job when you connect to a VPN. That's why it's important that Eddie is the most efficient OpenVPN application ensuring the longest battery life you can have, between all the OpenVPN based applications we are aware of.
