b2431521 6 Posted ... I regularly transfer files via IRC. Using my home connection I achieve my max line speed: roughly 5.5MB/sOn AirVPN, my transfers start out at full speed, then rapidly drop off to around 1MB/s. Looking at the traffic profile during transfer suggests this is a hard throttle at this speed. I have tried transferring via different VPN servers & experience the same issue. Any ideas? b2431521 6 Posted ... Hi, I'm using windows 10 & OpenVPN to connect.I've done a bit more testing - I appear to be getting full speed from some mainland EU VPN servers, it's just the UK ones when the transfer appears to cap itself to 1MB/s shortly after transfer. Maybe it's just a quirk of the server routing with somewhere imposing a limit *shrugs* Quote Share this post Link to post
