HIPAA Compliance?

Hi,

 

I recently signed up but I'm unable to find out if AirVPN is HIPAA compliant (ie can I use it as a healthcare professional in full compliance of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act 1996).

 

I've not been able to find anything on the forums or FAQs that would answer this question.

Also what encryption does AirVPN use including authentication and handshake?

It's an American standard and naturally since Air is European company it is not certified.

In this particular case it cannot even be certified, since there are no customer health

information being stored anywhere, which is what HIPAA audits for.

 

However Air is fully compliant with EU 2002/58/EC.
