I have been using Open VPN for a few years now but today it refuses to open in Windows 10.

Eddie is apparently running, holds the computer open when trying to restart.

If I try and run again it states that it is already running.

I have tried remove and reinstall but get the same result.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello!

Are you using Eddie or OpenVPN directly? You could try the experimental client, as well as going to Preferences > UI > Check the exit prompt option.

But which version of Eddie are you using? :) That's why I suggested trying the beta version of Eddie.

I downloaded the latest version that was on this site.

Had some trouble navigating the site and finding the beta version.

Not really well versed with VPN and settings.

You could uninstall OpenVPN and Eddie. Then you can check the guide in my signature, for instructions on how to download the beta/experimental client.
