Hi. I'm new to mac and Airvpn after using PC and another VPN with Qbit. I hope these steps I've taken to torrent with Qbit are correct, but if I have misstepped, please correct me. Firewall settings: 1.Block all incoming connections: deselected - Eddie: Allow incoming connections - qBit: Allow incoming connections 2. Automaticallt allow built-in softwarre to receive incoming connections: selected 3. Automatically allow downloaded signed software to receive incoming conncections: selected 4. Enable stealth mode: selected. Qbit settings: 1. Behaviour: Untouched; as in, I haven't selected or deselected anything, because I have no idea what it all means. If anyone has recommendations, I would be grateful. 2. Downloads: See 1. 3. Connection: - Peer connetion protocol: TCP and UTP (same as the protocol on my Ports page) - Listening Port: set to the same port on my Ports page) - Use UPnP / NAT=PMP port forwarding from my router: deselected I have not messed with either: Connection Limits, I2p (experimental), Proxy Server, IP Filtering, etc. Speed: Default settings (any recommendations greatly appreciated) 1. Global Rate Limits: - Upload: infinite - Download: infinite 2. Alternative Rate Limits: - Upload: 10 KiB/s - Download: 10 KiB/s Rate Limits Settings: - Apply rate limit to UTP protocol, ticked. - " " " " peers on LAN, ticked. - Apply .... transport overhead, not ticked. BitTorrent: Default settings (any recommendations greatly appreciated) RSS Reader: Default settings (any recommendations greatly appreciated) Web User Interface (Remote control): entirely greyed out. Advanced: Default Settings (any recommendations greatly appreciated). 3. Network interface: Any interface 4. Optional IP address to bind to: All addresses (Q. Is the "::1" my best option, since a ":1" is the number beside my port number on my Ports page? Thank you for reading this and thank you in advance for any advice. On PC, with Proton VPN, I just selected "port forwarding" and added the App number to qBit and binded them. I have learned from reading AirVPN's guides and forums that I should have deselcted "Use UPnP / NAT=PMP port forwarding from my router", alas.

Preface: This is my first rodeo port forwarding, so I may miss the mark whenever I relay any descriptions of the issues I'm experiencing. Many people recommended this VPN to me. I keep coming across the Connection Timeout Error 110, and even when I use the tool for listening on the port I've forwarded, it tells me that there is a refusal to connect. I've made these changes: server change, disabling firewall+antivirus flushing DNS, restarting PC, and maybe 2 other modes of trying to fix issues along the way. My only progress I've made has been fixing connection issues to servers because of my antivirus, but it's as far as I can go.

I just moved to a new house internet connection already set up with a Huawei HG8546M router installed. I've managed to access the router's settings, but don't know what to do to set it up for AirVPN? Has anyone already done this or have some pointers to get me started? I have Eddie clients on my linux mint laptop and windows 10 computer running, but both seem to be dropping the connection periodically and reconnecting to another server. The drops seem to get worse if I 'lock server'...which I need for a static external IP address for my Shoutcast Server stream. Thanks in advance for any help at all!

I have the fx505du. I Installed airvpn and it crashes on open. What's worse is it does the network lock when it opens but it gives me no option to disable the network lock. So I also cant get the usual reports I give to support. Have tried reinstalling and reboot multiple times now, nothing works. Any ideas? Something about object being not referenced to something

Dear Staff, After multiple people, including me, already mentioned in this thread - https://airvpn.org/topic/11908-new-1-gbits-server-available-nihal-es/ - whenever we connect to the Nihal server, ANY service (in my case TV and Pay-TV, which very annoyingly does not work with your "Spanish" server) recognises Nihal as being in Lisbon, Portugal. Furthermore it is supposedly registered to a portuguese name, too. If I understood you guys right, the server actually is in Spain, but that does not change anything for us users, as every "normal" ip-checking website locates the server in Portugal. So the server actually being in Spain, but showing itself as Portuguese to basically every website I was testing, does not help at all. It is rather unpleasant that internet-based Spanish Pay TV contents are not possible to access with AirVPN. The old spanish servers, albeit supposedly much slower, worked perfectly in that respect. As we didn't get any additional and/or problem-solving replies in the above attached thread, I would appreciate it very highly if you could help us out with this and fix that problem. Having said all that, I want to emphasize that I absolutely love AirVPN and what you guys offer. I think it is amazing and you have all my respect for the way you are running AirVPN. The above problem is the only drop of bitterness I am experiencing. Cheers
