  1. Hello! We understand your concerns. However, it is not possible for two or more clients to communicate between them if they're connected to the same VPN server. This is an additional security feature that we implemented since the beginning of our activity. While it makes our VPN not a "fully connected" VPN (in the sense that clients on the same server can't communicate with each other inside the private network), this is a feature that should answer to your concerns. Kind regards
  2. Hello! You could bind the applications you don't wish to be tunneled to your physical interface. ForceBindIP for Windows is a freeware utility that lets you achieve that: http://www.r1ch.net/stuff/forcebindip/ ForceBindIP can be used even the other way round. For example, PES2012 refuses to bind to the tun interface, and if you wish it tunneled you can force it through BindIPAddress. Please note that ForceBindIP will inject itself into another application and alter how certain Windows Sockets calls are made and has no relationship with AirVPN. Kind regards
  3. Hello! We assume you bought the code from bitcoincodes.com, our authorized and reliable reseller. Please contact the Bitcoincodes support team. They will solve your issue. Also, don't worry: bitcoincodes is an authorized reseller and we guarantee the transactions for Air codes with them. Please consider that if you have an e-mail valid for only 60 minutes you might not be able to receive automatically the code and the instructions to use it, because a payment confirmation with Bitcoin may require more than 1 hour. Kind regards Well, I contacted them twice now and I have not heard anything from anyone. Maybe tomorrow? I would like some assurance that the money I sent to the Bitcoin address will deposit me three months of service. Would you like me to give the Bitcoin address I sent the money to again? Perhaps someone from AirVPN can contact Bitcoincodes and address this issue. Thank you. Hello! Please feel free to send us a copy of your request to their support team through our "Contact us" form (not here), we'll take the appropriate steps. Kind regards
  4. Hello! If you use Windows, those queries may go unencrypted outside the tunnel. This happens because Windows allows different DNS for each card. When you set a particular DNS, Windows will set that DNS for your physical card, while the virtual tun/tap adapter will be pushed with another DNS from our servers. Monitor the process svchost.exe (with Comodo or Wireshark) to see what really happens. svchost.exe sends out DNS queries (amongst many other things) on every Windows OS. Kind regards
  5. Hello! Quick solution: - add to your hosts file the line: 46.105.19.36 airvpn.org - block svchost.exe with the same rule (this will block any DNS resolution outside the tunnel) and use a less restrictive global rule. See also this message (and all the thread): https://airvpn.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=3&id=2183&limit=6&limitstart=18&Itemid=142#2679 Our VPN servers respond to the following ports: 443 UDP, 443 TCP, 80 TCP, 80 UDP, 53 TCP, 53 UDP. You choose the port when you connect to one of our servers. Kind regards
  6. Hello! We are going to inform the Air client programmer about the issue. Can you please provide further details (your exact OS and .NET framework version)? In the meantime, please feel free to use the "Contact us" form to explain your problem (just put a link to this thread) at your convenience. We'll give you a backup account to connect via the Air client. Alternatively, you can connect via OpenVPN directly or the OpenVPN GUI for Windows. Kind regards
  7. Hello! Yes. By default a new account has no forwarded ports. We provide the option to remotely forward ports. Obviously protection on forwarded ports is no more on the server side. Also keep in mind that we don't monitor connections and we don't perform packet inspection of any type, so any packet on forwarded ports and any packet on connections established by client applications will be forwarded to the client without any control. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further information. Kind regards
  8. Hello! If you use the Air client, you will need to authorize packets to and from 46.105.19.36 (airvpn.org). This is because while OpenVPN retrieves certificates, configuration and key files from your local storage, the Air client downloads them through an SSL connection with airvpn.org. Kind regards

  10. Hello! Please try a connection to a TCP port to try to solve the connection drops issues. You can ask for a refund, no questions asked. Please use the "Contact us" form for the request. Kind regards
  11. Hello! Your account "kombikid" appeared connected, active and exchanging data. Are you sure you were not connected from some other device of yours? Please send us the connection logs as well, at your convenience. Kind regards
  12. Hello! Your account is authorized to access all the VPN servers. However, at the time of your attempted connection we had a minor issue with Vega (the server you tried to connect to) which did not affect old connections but prevented new connections to be established. It was solved in 10 minutes, please feel free to let us know if it's all right now for you. Kind regards
  13. Hello! Thank you for your choice. Can you please send your request via the "Contact us" form in the "Support" menu? We can prepare customized coupons for your gifts (you can choose the name, up to 16 characters); obviously these coupons can't be published in a forum. Thanks again. Kind regards
  14. Hello! The problem has been addressed. Most of the times the problem is on the client side during the handshake. A TCP connection may mitigate it. However, you're right that there are still some issues on the server side which cause an AUTH_FAILED. This is mainly due to how our security system works (no database of any kind on the VPN servers, no communications allowed from the clients to certain servers etc.). We are working to mitigate the problem without compromising security. Kind regards
  15. Hello! We're thinking about that. However, the classical system implemented in other clients is not the way to go for security reasons. We are thinking about a non-intrusive way which does not need to invade your system up to the point to kill "-9" your own applications. Anyway the safest and least intrusive method is setting firewall rules, at the moment we strongly recommend this. Workaround, set your hosts in this way: 46.105.19.36 airvpn.org Another workaround can be setting your primary DNS to 10.4.0.1 (assuming you connect to 443 UDP) and your secondary to 8.8.8.8. Kind regards
  16. Hello! The routing table pushed by our servers will tunnel all the traffic, since our service is aimed to encrypt everything which gets out of your client device. You can, as you correctly wrote, bind the programs which you don't want to be tunneled on your physical interface, or modify your routing table after the push. However, please proceed with caution, any mistake might destroy the anonymity layer. Another option is using, on your client configuration, the "route [...] net_gateway" directive: https://forums.openvpn.net/topic7161.html Kind regards
  17. Hello! The percentage displayed by our client is the busy bandwidth at the moment of the connection (or a few seconds earlier). So, if a 1 Gbit/s server has, say, 322 Mbit/s in use, the client will show (rounded) a bw occupation of 32%. Small discrepancies may be caused by few seconds updates. Delphini has rarely peaks beyond 30%, so it has still plenty of bandwidth to provide. Kind regards
  18. Hello! We recommend to set proper firewall rules to prevent leaks in case of VPN disconnection. https://airvpn.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=3&id=1713&Itemid=142 Connection monitoring and forced application killing is not a solution we recommend because it can expose anyway to leaks and because a forced kill may cause additional issues. All of our OpenVPN servers accept connections on ports 53, 80 and 443, both UDP and TCP. Kind regards
  19. Hello! We're sorry, we gave an incorrect link. The correct link is: https://airvpn.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=3&id=2183&Itemid=142 We apologize for any inconvenience. You're welcome. We avoid duplicates in the forum, if you wish personal assistance please use the "Contact us" form or the Helpdesk in the "Support" menu. Are you connected to port 443 UDP? Can you ping 10.4.0.1? Please note that DNS address is different according to the port you connect to: https://airvpn.org/specs Yes, auto reconnection is set by default on the Air client. Kind regards
  20. Hello! That's correct. A possible mitigation can be connecting Air over various proxies and performing proxy rotation. An example (Air over TOR): https://airvpn.org/tor Kind regards
  21. Hello! We can confirm that the zip archive generated by our configuration generator is not corrupt. You can decompress it with any standard unzip utility. Kind regards
