My 10 cents; Governments such as the UK (mine) are using their proganda machines to demonize anything that might make it difficult or impossible for them to snoop upon. So anyone using any type of encryption must be doing something underhand or illegal, unless you are using a bank or shopping on line but don't mention those because they are legit and people might start thinking encryption is good.

If terrorists or any criminal wants to keep stuff secret, they will (try at least), no matter what the stupid governments want with regard to back doors and other such nonesense. There is little difference in essence than before digital technology was around, cryptography has been alive and well for centuries.

I just hate slimey underhand liars, (lots of expletives) governments, totally hypocritical teapot heads, members of who do loads of secretive deals and other such deeds that they would not like in the public arena. Thank the Lord for Snowden and others like him.

I had no idea what CET was! but I do now. I never noticed any disruption but at least we knew what was going on, sort of.

You answered it all yourself. You do need the ip address which you can get using many sites (I used domain-records-lookup.com to test this). It is very simple to just add the ip into the 'routes' settings then shut down and restart the client

Having been and still part of many technical forums I can sincerely say that the staff here are of the highest quality I have ever come across. They not only know their subject in immense depth but also reply when needed in the forums in a manner which shows a great deal of overall academic knowledge and clarity.

This shows in the way that the software is written, the way it performs, and the overall outlook of the company. Second to none IMHO.

    I doubt it.

Stuff like this happens whether connected through AirVPN or not. You would need to gather and provide far more detailed information than you have for anyone to take any notice unless it happens all the time to everyone

Just as an aside, low latency values are required for such things as gaming where you need a quick response very often whereas for overall traffic speed eg for streaming / downloading it is not so relevant.

I've never been a Microsoft or Windows fan however I do miss a lot of very good programs written for Windows only. I rely quite a bit on my Win 7 VM to provide certain functions that simply have either no equivalent under Linux or are so unpolished/unrefined as to be useless compared. No matter how much anyone hates Windows and all of its faults, there is no doubt that to most computer users Linux looks, feels, and acts old fashioned, unpolished, and too technical. Its taken me till now to really go for it and I've been in IT since the late 70's.

Who do governments, especially the UK, employ as technical advisors for goodness sake. As has been intimated those that want/need to keep things secret will do so, no matter how the stupid government legislates. As usual they just love wasting time and public money on pointless tasks as long as they are aimed at keeping an eye on the masses.

I doubt many here are ignoring or are ignorant of anything being said here. Do you really think none of us are aware of all the possibilities. Some here are extremely qualified in the aspects of networking and data security never mind all the expertise available by the people who run Airvpn, whos integrity and know how are beyond question.

No traffic limit...No maximum speed limit, it depends only on the server load (See here).Minimum allocated granted bandwidth: 4 Mbit/s download + 4 Mbit/s upload
Every protocol is welcome, including p2p.

The point of offering a one year plan is that it is cheaper overall to pay in advance for it. You can pay monthly by using the monthly plan.
