    Port forwarding availability change

@Undated8198 Hello, we have no plans to remove port forwarding, quite the contrary: we are currently deploying resources to delay port exhaustion and find alternative, but comfortable, procedures to keep offering this service in anticipation of port exhaustion. As you can see we already limited to new customers the amount of bookable ports, in order to preserve advertised features to those who are already our customers. We are committed to avoid retro-active modifications of the service for pre-existing customers, when such modifications would be detrimental for the service or anyway betraying an advertised feature. Kind regards

With news of Mullvad and now IVPN removing port forwarding, can we have assurance from staff that AirVPN is not planning to remove port forwarding?

    Google domains cannot be reached

(Using a Dutch server) I can f.i. not connect to google.es, google.ge and google.nl. I first noticed this when I was trying to use gmail as the issue started earlier this week. For what it's worth I have attached two text files, created today, with ping results to google domains... while using a Dutch VPN server (MATAR) and the other without using AirVPN ( + using OpenDNS). MATAR_ping_results.txt NO_VPN_ ping_results.txt

Road to OpenVPN 2.6 and DCO

Excellent job! Testing OpenVPN + DCO with pfSense 23.05 with IPsec-MB Crypto: Yes (active), on fiber 1000/300.

Hi everyone, potential customer here and I would really appreciate a response to this question. I actually registered just to emphasize that. After speaking with someone at IVPN it's clear they have neither the capacity nor the desire to take on Mullvads customers. I've now changed VPNs twice in as many weeks, and this will be my third... As you might imagine it is pretty annoying.

    New user: How-to do Wireguard?

@vOsgZC7 Hello! For Eddie's manual, please type in a terminal "man eddie-ui". To switch connection mode, in the "Preferences" > "Protocols" window please uncheck "Automatic", select the connection mode line you prefer (the line will be highlighted) and click "Save". The change will apply at the next connection. Eddie will prevent WireGuard selection if WireGuard is not installed in the system. WireGuard should have been installed during Eddie installation as a dependency, but please check. Kind regards

Absolutely agree to all points, so important to me as a heavy CH (streaming) User. The diversity in Switzerland thanks to Servers at AltusHost, M274 & Kitalpha is the big plus of AirVPN, please keep it. For me it's the decisive point pro or against Air.

I vouched for keeping kitalpha when it was on edge a few years ago and will do again now. Since its hosted within AS6830 which is a big enduser ISP (Virginmedia.. Sunrise..) its mainly flying under the radar of big VPN detections and working for things like streaming in CH like a charm. It would be a huge loss. Keep it!
