    Eddie Desktop 2.18beta released

I can't build AUR package eddie-ui-git 2.18.7-1. The problem seems to be in PKGBUILD: 34 "cd eddie-air" no such directory

    Wireguard response from Mullvad

I think the question of WireGuard support should be revisited sometime this year as it is now included in the Linux kernel, the warning stating not to rely on their code has been removed from their website earlier last year, and it is now included in the default repositories for Ubuntu 19.10 and onward. The two main things missing still are support over TCP and non-static VPN local IP addresses.

A while ago I had the same problem. Support gave me an answer that solved it. It might work for you: Hello and thank you for your choice! Can you please check the DNS settings of your system while Eddie is not running? If the VPN DNS has remained set, your system will not able to resolve names when not connected to the VPN (that should never happen, but maybe Eddie has some issue or crash?). How to change DNS in Mac: http://osxdaily.com/2015/12/05/change-dns-server-settings-mac-os-x/ You can set any public DNS you prefer. We recommend OpenNIC for their commitment to privacy and neutrality, please see here: https://www.opennic.org We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards AirVPN Support Team

    Best QBittorrent setting for VPN

yes, Air staff is correct regarding port forwarding - my mistake to others who find this topic... AirVPN - go to your control panel and forward a port for both UDP and TCP - leave the fields blank and it will auto-pick a port make sure the port you use is NOT forwarded in your router there is no need to forward this port anywhere else (firewall, router, etc.) other than in the AirVPN control panel qBittorrent > tools > options > connections listening port - plug in the same port you forwarded on Air uncheck UPnP uncheck use different port on each start qBittorrent > tools > options > connections > connection limits global max = 100 connections per torrent = 50 (settings above suggested by Air staff) qBittorrent > tools > options > bittorrent > privacy enable DHT enable PeX qBittorrent > tools > options > advanced network interface = tun0 (on Linux anyway) - you may have to be connected to the VPN before the tun0 option is available if you change VPN servers, you may have to repeat the above step if you are unable to download also see: Do you allow p2p?
