ANSWERED No Connection on Win 8 w/ AirVPN client

Hello!

Problem: Using AirVPN's client I get no connection. The client connects but the download speed as self-reported by the client reads 6 or 7 kbs, depending on server, while the upload speed reads something ridiculous like 436578 kbs. I can reach no websites.

Info:

* booting Windows 8

* using AirVPN client

Tried:

* installing new Open VPN exe (1003)

* clearing .xml file of AirVPN preferences

Any ideas of what is wrong and how to fix it? Have tried multiple servers. Have had same issue for more than a week.

Can you please send us at your convenience the logs taken just after the problem occurs?

Please right-click on the Air dock icon, select "Menu", click "Copy to clipboard" and paste into your message.

Have you tried using tcp instead of udp? That solved it for me, although its considerably slower.

@BOR3D -- how did you change that setting?

I am experiencing the exact same issues -- I connect and it seems to connect just fine. Then I experience extremely high upload speeds and am unable to load any web pages.

My pings to 10.4.0.1 all time out (saw to check that in an old post). I can ping airvpn.org just fine
