ANSWERED Poor speed on servers particularly in Sweden

I am in Germany. Today I tried servers in Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland.

I get particularly slow download speeds when connecting to the servers in Sweden (tested 4 with various speed test sites). They are under 10 mb/s whereas the others are mostly in the range of 70 to 80. One server in Norway was above 80 and when testing again had an average of 36. Overall though, the Swedish servers are particularly slow for me.
That has been the case for at least several weeks. I recently have been using a VPN only occasionally. 
I remember having some less than ideal speeds with servers in Switzerland for a while. Today they are OK.

In the past, I used to connect the servers in Sweden a lot and was happy with the speeds.

Any ideas what the reasons might be?
