Two new 10 Gbit/s servers available (CH)

Hello!

We're very glad to inform you that two new 10 Gbit/s full duplex servers located in Zurich, Switzerland, are available: Athebyne and Toliman. 

The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers; if you use any other OpenVPN or WireGuard client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").

The servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 1194, 2018 UDP and TCP for OpenVPN and ports 1637, 47107 and 51820 UDP for WireGuard. They support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH, TLS 1.3, OpenVPN tls-crypt and WireGuard.

Full IPv6 support is included as well.

As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses.

seems Athebine DNS records haven't propagated yet?  I'm getting nxdomain when I try to lookup athebine.airservers.org

edit: I see it's a typo.  athebyne is the name

When trying to setup Athebyne through config file, I get this error:

ERROR VPN settings: provider settings: server selection: for VPN service provider airvpn: the server name specified is not valid: value is not one of the possible choices: value athebyne, choices available are Achernar, Achird, Adhara, Agena, Ain, Alamak, Alathfar, [...]

Hello!

You need to update the file from which GlueTun gets information about AirVPN servers. https://github.com/qdm12/gluetun-wiki/blob/main/setup/servers.md

Thanks for the hint, but I think that is the problem here: The linked servers.json (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/qdm12/gluetun/master/internal/storage/servers.json) file does not contain Athebyne nor Toliman...

Exactly, that's why you need to update it. If the file is still outdated on the source repository, update it manually, you have all the info you need. Or you can wait for an update by the maintainer.

I think the easiest way is to download the WireGuard config of the server you want and use WireGuard settings for Gluetun. You can see more info here: https://github.com/qdm12/gluetun-wiki/blob/main/setup/providers/custom.md.

Is it possible that these new servers are forcing IPv6 altough having an IPv4 openvpn generated file? Something similar as what's described here several years ago.

I'm asking as i'm seeing this on log files, although having the IPv4 only files from config generator
