MrSpam 0 Posted ... So I've had Airvpn for over a year running great on my orginal Mac but I recently got a new Mac that I'm trying to setup with eddie/airvpn/qbittorrent. I started by creating a 2nd device on airvpn and started a new forwarding port for it. I copied over all the qbittorrent settings to be the same (except for the forwarding port which is set to the new port) but I cant get the port to display anything but "no ports open" when testing the port. On qbittorrent I tried all the different network interfaces and none of them seem to work. On my orginal setup it works fine set to "Any Interface". Any help would be appreciated. Chomp4132 0 Posted ... (edited) I am having the same issue but on Windows. I actually came over from a different VPN provider hoping to resolve the port forwarding issues but I'm having the same issues as before. The issue is that I open the ports in the VPN but port checker websites always show the ports as closed. I can NOT figure this out for the life of me. My issue was that there was no service running to show the port is open. Look for the AirVPN Port Forwarding Tester or here, I'll give you a link. Make sure it's running on the correct IP and Port then click "Listen". As soon as I did that the port showed "Open"! Good stuff AirVPN, thank you! You're also not using the same OS, so please refrain from doing "I have the same issue" posts – you really don't. Could you maybe post the qB log? In the log you can delete all resume messages about torrents (if you don't want people to know what you're downloading/seeding ). How does Eddie play into any of this? The problem I understood was "port is unreachable despite having been forwarded", but now we're on "Eddie cannot connect"? Please make up your mind about what exactly you want the community's help with, and stick to that problem. Any other problem should be discussed in another thread.
