ANSWERED [SOLVED] Eddie cannot connect - caught in loop

Every time I try to connect to a server, Eddie stalls out at checking route / DNS and disconnects then tries again. Never connects and I have to cancel.

I am running version 2.13.6 on macOS 11.7.5

It also says it is forcing my network adapter's DNS though I am not sure if this is normal.

Note to readers: problem resolved by upgrading Eddie (the 2.13.6 version was used on an Operating System which did not exist when 2.13.6 was released many years ago).
