curl certificate error in Eddie while trying to connect to AirVPN

Recommended Posts

Need quick urgent help please. I need the VPN daily and it's very important.

Every time I try to connect to a VPN server I get "Checking route IPv4 Failed". This was working fine yesterday. I've restarted my computer. Then I tried multiple servers in different countries. Nothing works.

Please advise.

Thank you

Me too on Linux Mint 19.2. Eddie IPv4 fails to connect to any server and IPv6 is disabled on my network.

How many employees work here and how soon do you get responses? I've also submitted a support request. This is seriously urgent for me and i require immediate help. This can be costing me cryptocurrency.

Going to have to switch VPNs if this continues and support is limited. Uptime is mandatory for me.

I'm having this same issue as well.  Uninstalling eddie and reinstalling an earlier version did not help.  Restarted everything multiple times.

Well, I was able to connect to a Sao Paolo server... I'm not sure why I could connect to a server in Brazil but not Canada, the Netherlands, the United States or the UK.

Today is the only day I've ever had problems like this with the VPN.  Been using for months no issues.  I am hoping they get this fixed soon.

Having same problem here.  Some notable things I found.  Just recently had an update on windows 10 pro.  I updated to the latest version to see if that would help, didn't.  My friend also has the problem but only after he disconnected and tried reconnecting.

Keeps looping and changing servers, then restarting and loops again.
Feedback about this would be appreciated (temporary problem, technical problem...etc)?

Looking into nordvpn but itd be nice to have one i can buy in short time chunks like this. I buy 3 months at a time.

I've used airvpn for years because I liked their policies and philosophy about privacy and such. I remember hearing how another vpn released data to governments (IPvanish i think?). But this means nothing if its costing me thousands of dollars in downtime.

Anyone have experience with other VPNs that keep no logs, are based in countries that arent susceptible to government problems, and have a history of 100% privacy keeping like never releasing any info to governments or anything else? Not that im doing all that bad stuff but my privacy is still paramount.

I also like the network lock that only allows data to run through the VPN at the firewall level thus leaving not even a milisecond for some server to catch your IP.

Oh and is there any way that a VPN can have geoblocking that actually works? The VPNs hide your IP but other companies can still know that all these IPs are tied to known VPNs. Netflix for instance.
