Will there be Black Friday, Cyber Monday deals?

My subscription is due for renewal in just over a week. So I am just wondering if there will be deals? IF there is I'll be waiting and pick up a deal or two for Black Friday/Cyber Monday

That link re 29$ has some good reasons why "lifetime subscription" is not economically sustainable for recurrent expenses, and smells.

 

I have 60d to go, but will add another year or two for a "bulk discount", and feed the accounts.

At 1400 UTC on a Saturday there are 15000 online users, if guess say 20000 subscribers at basic 5Euro per month:

20000*12*5=1,200,000Euro revenue per year.

Maybe need say 5 core professional employees at 80,000Euro pa for "decent living wage" = 400,000Euro, before hosting and network costs, and additional investment and depreciation over 3years.

So maybe some room for "loyalty discounts".

 

One useful "symbolic gesture" might be to offer a 50% discount for people paying from politically oppressive andor dangerous nations such as Egypt, Turkey, Saudi, Thailand, Myanmar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia, Ukraine. I do not mind subsidizing their safer access to the internet and "outside world".

I was joking, Im actually hoping it won't be! Having been with AirVPN for a number of years now, and also having trialled several other offerings in the market, I really appreciate the sustainable infrastructure Air are building out and am glad to see not only sound principles in terms of what they stand for, but also business thinking. I'm actually more interested in keeping Air around for the long term than saving $20 because Im not actually sure where I would go if they weren't.

For some reason, AirVPN is the only VPN that works on my office PC, using the Eddie client  !

Perfect timing.  My 3 month subscription was running out and I've just added another year.

 

I was a happy AirVPN customer before, but I suffered a moment of weakness and went with a PureVPN special offer back in late 2015. It was terrible, very poor client and DNS leaks.
