NotTheOne 7 Posted ... hello i have been using air vpn with wifi and have no issueswhen i try to connect with ethernet (no wifi) it seems to work, but i get readings of 0bit/s u and dany idea why this is happening or how to optimize? my ethernet is much faster than wifi and i would prefer to have it set up this way I was having the the exact same problem except that I could connect via ethernet but not via wifi. I was going to post a topic to see if anyone could figure out why but ended up solving it myself from the info under "Eddie can't connect or is very slow, what can I do?" found at https://airvpn.org/topic/18339-guide-to-getting-started-links-for-advanced-users/ Your problem might be that you are using manual entries for your ethernet settings instead of using the automatic "Using DHCP" (step 9 below). This is what I did: 1. On the Eddie AirVPN, clicked on "Disconnect" 2. Disconnected my ethernet cable from my Mac (not sure if this was necessary but wanted to make sure I was only using Wi-Fi to connect) 3. Opened my Mac's System Preferences. 4. Clicked on "Network". 5. Clicked on the "Turn Wi-Fi On" button. 6. Selected my Wi-Fi network next to "Network Name". 7. Clicked on the "Advanced" button. 8. Clicked on the "TCP/IP" tab. 9. Selected "Using DHCP" next to "Configure IPv4".10. Clicked on the "DNS" tab.11. Under "DNS Servers", click on the "+" button and entered "10.4.0.1".12. Clicked the "OK" button.13. Clicked on the "Apply" button on the bottom right hand side of the Network preference window. On the Eddie AirVPN window, I was then able to choose a server and connect to it via Wi-Fi.
