Guest Posted ... I already told you the server is Brachium. All i want to know is if anyone notice the problem with the specific server. My ping is the same with all other airvpn servers. Quote Share this post Link to post

go558a83nk 362 Posted ... unless a server is under super high load nothing about the server itself will change your "ping". ping is a measure of the latency between you and the server. I'm sure you realize there's a lot of internet between you and the server that can change. best practice is to get an idea of the usual route between you and the server and see if that changes from time to time. Guest Posted ... The first line of my logs is the AirVPN client version... Anyways, why are you even connecting to Brachium? Are there no other options? Practically all of Europe is available I connected from another server and cleared the log before connecting to Brachium to show you only the relevant info. I had 10-20 lower ping than any server in EU. I guess something changed because ping to that server is now 4 times what it was. Unfortunately i don't have a traceroute of before.Anw thanks for any help. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9973 Posted ... Did my connection to the server change or something is wrong with it. I went from max 80 ping to 230. Anyone facing the same issue? Did it happen when (if) you upgraded to Eddie 2.11.x beta? Is your system GNU/LInux based? If so: the ping method has changed in Eddie 2.11.5beta for Linux. Just consider, at the moment, the round trip times as relative values. Nothing changes operationally for you in the choice of the "best" server. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post

It's not related to new client because i have been using it since it was released and ping was fine. Probably something changed from my location to Spain servers. Unfortunately i don't have an old traceroute. Quote Share this post Link to post
