Brachium higher ping

Did my connection to the server change or something is wrong with it. I went from max 80 ping to 230. Anyone facing the same issue?

What logs are this and where do i find them? Airvpn gui logs don't seem to have anything relevant.

Everything could be relevant. You haven't even told us which server you are using. How do you expect anyone to know anything?

The log is under a tab called 'Logs'.

I already told you the server is Brachium. All i want to know is if anyone notice the problem with the specific server. My ping is the same with all other airvpn servers.

As far as I know, network infrastructure and peering in ES is far from being good.

May we confirm this statement, please? Post your logs from line 1.

unless a server is under super high load nothing about the server itself will change your "ping".  ping is a measure of the latency between you and the server.  I'm sure you realize there's a lot of internet between you and the server that can change.

 

best practice is to get an idea of the usual route between you and the server and see if that changes from time to time.

Connected to brachium and grabbed the logs. Didn't have to wait because ping is bad always this days. I guess my routing to Spain changed for some reason.

I connected from another server and cleared the log before connecting to Brachium to show you only the relevant info. I had 10-20 lower ping than any server in EU. I guess something changed because ping to that server is now 4 times what it was. Unfortunately i don't have a traceroute of before.

Did it happen when (if) you upgraded to Eddie 2.11.x beta? Is your system GNU/LInux based?

 

If so: the ping method has changed in Eddie 2.11.5beta for Linux. Just consider, at the moment, the round trip times as relative values. Nothing changes operationally for you in the choice of the "best" server.

I use windows 10 latest 64 bit. It's not related to new client because i have been using it since it was released and ping was fine. Probably something changed from my location to Spain servers. Unfortunately i don't have an old traceroute.
