Klintwoo 1 Posted 09/27/2016 I was testing my security using this site: https://ipleak.net/ While the IP and DNS is secure, and even torrents. It still got through with the WebRTC check. Is there any way to stop this leak? Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10116 Posted 09/27/2016 Hello, the issue is ill posed. Please read the following article to frame the argument correctly then enable Network Lock.https://www.clodo.it/blog/an-alternative-approach-to-so-called-webrtc-leaks/ Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Klintwoo 1 Posted 09/27/2016 Actually, sorry. I figured it out. It was a relly easy fix too: "What is a "WebRTC leaks"?WebRTC implement STUN (Session Traversal Utilities for Nat), a protocol that allows to discover the public IP address. To disable it:Mozilla Firefox: Type "about:config” in the address bar. Scroll down to “media.peerconnection.enabled”, double click to set it to false.Google Chrome: Install Google official extension WebRTC Network Limiter." Quote Share this post Link to post
dj77 6 Posted 09/27/2016 For Firefox: about:config, search for media.peerconnection.enabled. Double click on it to set it to False. Chrome: Install ublock origin and use the block webrtc feature in settings (works for Firefox too) Quote Share this post Link to post
