I have followed the steps on this page https://airvpn.org/ios/

 

it connects but I dont have access to the net.

 

Im connecting from china so ssl or ssh is needed

if jailbroken you should be able to do either type after installing stunnel or openssh and a terminal app for command line.

So, I've downloaded stunnel from Cydia. What do I do now in order to connect to VPN via SSL?

I am having issues with stunnel using ios 10 as well. I see the stunnel,profile is installed but don't see where I can make it active via vpn profile option list. Thanks.

try a tls-crypt config.

As go558a83nk mentioned use tls-crypt. It should bypass all kinds of DPI (Deep Packet Inspection).

 

I am using it myself to connect to Chara server on my iPhone and it is working great.
