Three new 1 Gbit/s servers available (US)

Recommended Posts

Hello!

We're very glad to inform you that three new 1 Gbit/s servers located in Atlanta, GA (US) are available: Albireo, Azha and Dschubba.

The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").

The servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP.

Just like every other Air server, Albireo, Azha and Dschubba support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH.

As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses.

Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue.

Kind regards and datalove
AirVPN Team

Staff, I'm noticing that with Albireo Air DNS is pointing to servers on the west coast of USA.  Apple and Google tested so far.  Can something be done so that servers closer to Atlanta are used?

there was a post here, looks like it's now deleted, regarding the packet loss suffered by the 3 new servers yesterday.  The servers are in Quadranet's Atlanta datacenter.  Yesterday, Quadranet's Miami facility (which hosts another 3 Air servers) suffered a power loss.  I'm guessing that also caused problems for the Atlanta datacenter?

I also notice that, my pfSense dropped Albireo in my round Robin configuration and connected to my next hop. I miss that post and wished it didn't get deleted so we all know it was an issue out of air's control.
