New 1 Gbit/s server available (US)

Hello!

We're very glad to inform you that a new 1 Gbit/s server located in the USA is available: Etamin.

 

The AirVPN client will show automatically the new server, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").

 

The server accepts connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP.

 

Just like every other Air server, Etamin supports OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH.

 

As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses.

The main status page is probably manually updated, so when the server is back online it will still show Down/Maintenance until a Staff member will update it.

The main status page is automatically updated, In this case Etamin did not accept new connections for its status, but already established connections were kept.

Not sure if this is related only to this server, but no torrents work when connected to this server.

 

As soon as I connect to a Canadian server, it fixes the problem. Tried reconnecting back to this server and it blocks it immediately again.

our policy stands for Etamin as well: no protocols discriminations. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

Hello.

Actually many trackers block some entire US ranges due to DMCA.

This might be a tracker related issue, not something related to the Air server.

 

Can you download Ubuntu .iso for example?
