New 1 Gbit/s servers available (CA)

Recommended Posts

Hello!

We're very glad to inform you that two new 1 Gbit/s servers located in Canada are available: Kraz and Rana.

The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").

The servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP.

Just like every other Air server, Kraz and Rana support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH.

As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses.

Do not hesitate to contact us for any information or issue.

Kind regards and datalove
AirVPN Team

ANOTHER server right in the middle of Five Eyes? Useless! We need servers in Russia and South America

Yep, because the FSB doesn't conduct any activity even remotely similar to the NSA.  Russia is fit as a fiddle.  Oh...wait...

Forget about all this Five Eyes stuff.  Nothing is safe these days.  AirVPN is doing great.  I commend them.

Avoid the five eyes, try the Latvian servers, those have been working out very well. If the Ukraine server comes back that works well also. The servers in the NSA friendly regions function very well, just make sure that you take extra precautions while using them such as Tor

"Newly leaked documents from Edward Snowden name partners of NSA. The "third party partners" to the Five Eyes nations has now grown to include nine states - Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain."

Minor oddity - when I connect to Kraz and check my location on ipleak.net, it identifies the location as "Australia - New South Wales."

Other IP checking sites correctly say the location is in North York, Ontario, Canada.
