Internet Connection Drops when Connecting AirVPN Client

Recommended Posts

Help I am using Windows 7 Professional and I am unable to get internet access once I load and connect to AirVPN with the Client 1.9,

I can access the whole web if using my normal Ethernet connection linked to my router. As I would expect I only have one Home network showing in the "Network and Sharing Center"

When I connect to AirVPN, I then see two networks in the "Network and Sharing Center" my usual HOME and a new Unidentified Network. At this point I loss all internet access. I have searched the web and advice has been to uncheck the "Use default gateway on remote network." on the advanced area of IPv4 properties within the Networking Tab of the VPN Properties. However this option is not present on my screen.

Any help welcomed, as AirVPN useless without fix.  Thanks

Hello,

can you please publish the Air client logs taken just after a connection has been allegedly established? Please right-click on the Air tray icon (a white cloud), select "Logs", click "Copy to clipboard" and paste into your message.

Kind regards

I have been battling this since the first day I signed up (two whole days ago ).  It is not a good feeling to think you are vpn'd and then you notice you have been using your real internet connection without any warning.  BTW a popup when the VPN disconnects or if you don't have confirmed internet access would be spectacular.

Anyways, I am on Windows 8.1 and my situation is exactly the same as the OP's issue.

I fixed mine............... (preemptive emoticon)

I did not see the port exception required on the router.

I had to accept the port airvpn wanted or specify my own and open it.  Opened the port and the internet access came right back.  Now its is time to find out if I keep this time.

EDIT - It is gone again...............

Suggerimenti?
