Questions regarding setting up p2p and connection drops

Hello,

I have been using your service for a while now, fantastic VPN. Recently, I just started getting curious about if I am truly secure. All I have done is install open vpn and use the airvpn client. No tweaking any settings because I am very inexperienced. However, I see now that I might be unsecure, so I have a couple questions.

1.) On my torrent client (tixati), I am using port 18751 (UPNP Forwarded) for my TCP/UDP port for peer connections and UDP Port for DHR messages. Should I change that to another port (80/443/53?) Also, what is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6 when using a torrent client and AirVpn? Do I still need to forward my ports or anything else that I haven't configured?

2.) I'm a little confused about when a VPN's connection may drop and my IP is exposed. When AirVPN is active, are there sudden drops in connection that reveal my true IP but are so quick they actually don't disconnect the client? What I'm trying to ask is if the only time my IP is exposed is when the VPN actually disconnects, or can there be holes in the connection while the VPN is still connected? Because the only time AirVPN has disconnected (besides me pressing the disconnect button) is if my regular internet connection goes down. Or maybe it disconnects and reconnects without me noticing?

3.) I am using Comodo Firewall. Instead of blocking all traffic if the VPN disconnects (too inexperienced to understand the tutorial you gave us!), I just followed this post and blocked specific applications instead:

I used this for many applications, including my torrent client, but I noticed that B/S in and out are not 0 after I disconnect the VPN. They are like 6 or 7 B/S. Are those bytes bypassing the firewall somehow and using my real IP? I don't know if this is a big deal, but I just wanted to post and ask.

4.) What about DNS leaks? Is that something I should worry about.

So that's all the questions I have. I hope that firewall rule is all I need to keep me secure using this vpn

No, you should not use low ports. IPv6 is currently not supported in Air. For additional details please see https://airvpn.org/faq#p2p

There can be leaks only when there's a disconnection. On Windows, there's an exception: DNS leaks, which may occur even while you are connected, because Windows lacks the concept of global DNS. Our guide for Comodo will prevent any leak, including DNS leaks.

That traffic may be due to applications which are not configured to be blocked outside the VPN (even system tasks/processes).

I installed it, run the batch file, then now every time I connect to an airvpn server with open vpn, I see two servers from Google (US) and one from Google (Germany) while connected to Leporis. I don't see any from my ISP, so does that mean it's fixed?
