Unable to connect, still showing my IP

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just subscribed for a year looking forward to this service, but I haven't been able to connect yet. I can connect to the AirVPN client just fine and it looks like I connect to the chosen server, but when entering airpvn.org it says I'm not connected and showing my IP.

I looked around the forum and tried some fixes (I'm no computer wiz, so maybe I didn't get it all):

- checked that my firewall allows openvnp.exe

- TAP-Win32 adapter v9 is enabled. I tried to disable and enable it and also tried to reinstall OpenVPN

I also tried different servers but still not working, please help!

Running win7 home 64bit, and here are my logs:

@Miramis

Hello!

The logs appear just fine. Can you please send us the output of the commands (issued from a command prompt) "ipconfig /all" and "route print" after the connection to a VPN server is established?

Kind regards

Hello,

For some reason it suddenly works. The only thing I can think of I did since trying last is updating the driver for my wireless adapter and then running the command prompts you asked for and checking my IP while using a torrent program after connecting to a VPN via checkmytorrentip.com. I don't see how this can have an effect, but I'm just happy it works now. Thank you a lot for a quick response.

Now I have another problem: I can't see the speed test on airvpn.org but only a black square. I assumed it was a flash thing so I updated my plug in but its still not working. Its the same issue if I navigate directly to speedtest.net. Pingtest.net works fine though and so do other speed tests online. Please help as I was in the middle of figuring out which server and port is the best for me and I need your internal test to do that. Thanks!

Hello!

It looks like a Flash-related issue. Please try to uninstall completely Flash and re-install it.

Kind regards
