Hi,

Recently, I am experiencing long waiting times (20+ mins) for Eddie to start up and run in Windows 10. Apparently, the program tries to "delete routes", trying - without success - to do the same thing over and over again. Here is what happens:

Any fix available? Thanks in advance.

Hello!

Something terribly wrong happened with the configuration file, caused perhaps by a bug which has been detected and fixed in Eddie 2.17 beta (if the mentioned bug is indeed the cause of the problem, upgrading will let you prevent the problem to re-occur).

While Eddie is not running, delete (administrator privileges required) the following file (NOTE: you will lose your settings, so you will need to re-enter your credentials and custom settings at the next run):

C:\Program Files\AirVPN\default.xml

At the next run Eddie will create a new configuration file with default settings and the problem will be sorted out.

Kind regards

Unfortunately, not. Having followed your instructions it took even longer.

At the next run Eddie will create a new configuration file with default settings and the problem will be sorted out.

I will upgrade to the beta version and see what happens.

Best regards

Unfortunately, upgrading to Eddie 2.17 did not resolve the problem.

Hello!

You have not deleted the default.xml file.

Kind regards

Actually, I did. Thus, not only did I have to log in again, but there was also this additional line in the interface that apparently does not show up in the log. It reads

Profile options not found, using defaults.

I'm attaching a .jpg showing the interface with the message.

Hello!

That's puzzling then. Try to purge the whole Eddie installation and re-install it as a last resort.

Kind regards
