Using Eddie on Manjaro Linux.

When I minimise it still shows in task bar instead of iconising near the clock.

Can you please allow it to minimise properly without showing on taskbar.

thanks

Hello!

It would be good if you list which Eddie release you're using - do try the experimental client :).

If you don't know how or where to find it, then please refer to the guide in my signature, thank you.

I've reported this as well.  Arch linux (latest production updates) running latest cinnamon desktop.

Latest eddie beta 2.14.2. It does NOT minimize to the task bar. Same issue as the OP.

Also seeing a decent sized memory leak with mono 5.10.1.16-1  (eddie showing over a gig in resident memory in less than a day's usage. --from 147meg when started.) If the client is minimized, after an indeterminate period of time, it will crash. A restart will then fail to connect until system is restarted. If the client is left as a window, this behavior doesn't occur.

The memory leaks are noted, but I can gather they're hard for Staff to deal with, due to the difficulty in reproducing them. So if you're interested, please read this post and consider submitting a report.

Otherwise I ran into some of the same issues as you, at times :).
