I quess it is Gnome problem ^ . Here in gnome arch same thing, i can live with that. Afterall as you know Gnome behaviour is little different than kde,mate,xfce etc..

I presume u have windows, so maybe your antivirus have quarantined curl. Make exception rule for that curl.

Curl is now built in window$ systems. It is a command line tool that allows you example to download files and perform other HTTP related tasks. It is false positive. But if you are paranoid you could upload it example virustotal.com and check it out. U found curl in this in folder i quess => C:\Windows\System32...

Just my two cents when i saw this topic. I checked mu port forwarding and it has been same some time, but today i also notice no "green light".

I made checks here and also my configurations and look at canyouseemeorg etc.. and ipleak...

i just watch my torrent-client was not "green light" so, i goto here and made newly port forwarding and made a checks made rules in ufw and even disable it. No luck. & ipleak.net torrent detection doesn't show nothing. But, it looks like there is some problem, when try to be patient and see BLINK, just like out of blue sky it changes connectable ,,,so okay...little time later it doesn't appear "green" again and ipleak site didn't show my magnet link refreshing nfo any kind in any time.

Pardon me my bad english but looks like some issues are... maybe problem is in my end like usually, because i like test all kind of stuff.

So, i saw your post and start the "tiny" investication (pardon me, english is not my native language).

I had before also all good OpenVpn and Air config-files + android phone. I use Brave browser, all shields in testing(+others) sites on-mode, but scripts, so site could do those test. Afterwards i click that shield script on-mode also.

Yep, so not a long time ago i have everything same settings, no change made then sometime ago i saw that some leaks happen really.

 
I then after little testing changed my second opinion VPN what does the job with leaks but there's "something" , why i do not really like to use it "allday", but good enough for backup VPN. I mean in android. Yeah, so today i started testing OpenVpn & Air-config files. i changed config files & deleted and install OpenVpn newly. Then i just clear all cache things and so on, normally cleaning things...

Okay, so Brave is browser & OpenVpn and AirVpn-config files. I started to look OpenVpn LOG, if you haven't please look up there do you see some "warnings"? I has some ipv6 things. Nowadays when ipv6 are going to be more settled in internet many thing change altrought it. So, there are plenty servers (change and test) in AirVpn and you have seen that i presume Some of them have ipv6 support some dont, hahaha. Like i know you know. ISP and ipv6 support will and have coming in slowly but certainly!

Finally, i got it control. I have all the settings like in upper post and so on. Many things you know leaks and stuff is more often because your browser. But most definitely just look up your settings again clean all the "junk" away and start all over. Yeah, it's a pretty boring, but as i notice again it was indeed worth it. Now i have AirVpn-config files <3 , OpenVpn in my android (eddie in my laptop) and everything is smoooth! No leaks whatsoever. I tested Browserleaks, ipleak.net, dnsleaktest.com and few others.

Just check it a fresh start and you'll be fine. Have a nice day and sorry mine very long and not so informative post. And so messy post also :blush:

Try in Eddie options, uncheck network lock =>  allow lan/private.

Yes, it is normal that without NL you are "more" vulnerable different kind of leaks. So keep it up.

First things first, please activate NL (network lock) and see what happens then.

Yep, i have tested Epic browser, not in my taste. I have using since beginning Brave browser, very nice indeed. It has actually been my main browser about year now. Of course i have FF 64bit and i have Linux OS.

Also, it good advice when/if you have made config like Eddie start atomatically and activate NL and maybe connect some server, good point is when you stop your session/reboot/shutdown, first of course disconnect and then deactivate manually in eddie NL and then close the Eddie.

Sure you can , if possible change your network adapter IPv4 settings, what are your preferred and alternate dns adresses, if they are not what they usually are, change them. Like automatically or use what you have using when everything was fine. 

I have using in windows CFW10 no probs with or without NL, whatsoever. Of course i have Win firewall disabled. Long time, no issue. Comodo Firewall isn't a easier choise for newbie or even average user... Lot of configuration and settings u have to know what they do and not etc... I suggest do deep research for comodo forums etc.. And yes WFP on.

Very nice, fastest for Sweden servers. Lot of of conflict many pages to abuse spam issues that why can't go there with that norma. But thanks for this!

Yeah, same problem here. I contact to support waiting for the answer. Meanwhile i downloaded opevpn client and generate files here and contact with openvpn, but there's a tiny problem, it leaks dnd-addresses. So you need to add your network adapter manually some ip-adresses where you trust. So, i don't like it that way.
