DNS Windows Leak Fix

So I have decided to just use the software and skip DDWRT. I have been using the DNS addresses 10.4.0.1 and 10.5.0.1 in the network and sharing center to fix the DNS leak. The problem is that I have set AirVPN to start with Windows and every time it reboots I have to change the DNS settings to auto to connect to the internet, then turn on AirVPN, then change the DNS settings to fix the leak. Is there a way I can leave the DNS settings using AirVPNs DNS all the time or will I have to keep repeating this process?

You don't need to repeat those annoying steps every time: just resolve airvpn.org in your system hosts, so your system will not need a DNS query to resolve it.

 

Add to your hosts file the lines:

85.17.207.151 airvpn.org

212.117.180.25 airvpn.org
